I would agree with you HOWEVER Francis made it clear throughout and after that he was concerned about his stamina over 10 rounds. His level of stamina in a debut boxing fight was unprecedented, if he had confidence he could have turned the screw a little more and really put Fury in a world of trouble. There was a round afterwards where he blew quite a lot energy but failed to connect meaningful on Fury which shows even though he did have the energy you need the experience to be able to use it correctly.

Energy conservation, workrate & pace setting can make or break a fight. Floyd was a master at it. After round 3 Fury realized he had to drag the pace down and take some life out of Francis over the next couple of rounds he then realized the clinchwork stuff isn't going to work either so the Fury pulled the pace down to sub zero levels the nick a decision.

Good point. This fight and its luster (That it had) was really owed to Usyk. And the boxing fans. Tell you the truth, THAT Fury last Sat wouldn’t have seen the 8th round against Usyk. And if Fury did happen to make it the distance… there would be NO argument on who won. Instead of cringe singing, there would have been epic dancing by the winner afterwards. Lol

Please forgive me again, but i wrote all of this in german, and i dont want to write it again in english, so i gonna use an online translator.

So please dont take much notice about grammar and writing errors.

As for Ngannou's power. I think a lot of people got it wrong (me too) and it's a bit of "propaganda". I'll give you a quote from someone here:

129 k franklins cant be change into peak force its more related to impulse so average force at contact time duration newton x seconds they create this bs units after multiple interview with many difrents masters diffrent type combat sports how they subscribe diffrenc punching characteristic that base on very stupid subjective imagination and feeling while physicist know from years multiple equation which very precise subscribe impact phenomenom so you dont need discovery wheel again;)

I have better simplier cheaper device anyway powerkuba beside franklins units also measured feet pounds per seconds units and this units have straight corelation with kilograms force.

Francis best shot was 51 k ftlbs sec what is 510 kilograms force or 1123 pounds of force.

    Source: https://www.quora.com/Francis-Ngann...1-units-What-would-that-be-in-pounds-of-force

This units cant be directly extrapolated on some very specific peak force level ‍♂️ However in hees best attempt on powerkube when he score this 129,161 franklins units he also achieve 51 000 ft lbs/sec and this can be change on peak force its 510 kg force or 1124 pounds of force or 5003 newtons of force all three mean egzacly the same For comaprision eddie hall best shot was 360 kg force

    Source: https://www.quora.com/How-many-kg-or-lb-is-129-161-units-Francis-Ngannou-s-strongest-punch

There we have it! This all looks like, I don't want to say "fraud", but as this gentleman Marcin Lewandowski writes, 510 kilograms force or 1123 pounds of force.

It's strange that you can't convert this Ngannou value, i.e. "129.161 units", 1-1 to kilograms or English pounds, like you used to do in "Fight Science".

In other words: It was probably intended that way from the start because no one could really check it.

If the values are correct, then I'll make you a list now (across all styles):

Number 5) Left hand of Wlad, around 400 kg = 882 lbs
    Source:
    https://www.bild.de/sport/mehr-sport/seine-faust-in-original-groesse-8737462.bild.html (German BILD paper)

Number 4) Right hand of Ngannou, 510 kg = 1123 pounds of force

Number 3) Right hand of Deontay Wilder, around 600 kg = 1323 lbs
    Source:
Preview of the 2nd Fury fight. I think it was the American broadcast.
PS: There is also a source on Quora that says the right hand against Ortiz in the second fight was 897 kg =
1978 lbs, which would be harder as any punch from Wlad.

Number 2) Right hand of Wlad Klitschko, around 700 kg = 1543 lbs
    Source:
    https://www.bild.de/sport/mehr-sport/boxen/hier-schlagen-700-kilo-klitschko-ein-30180598.bild.html

Number 1) Right kick of Bren Foster, 1043 kg = 2300 lbs
    Source:

So if Wilder really can do 897 kg aka 1978 lbs (the source is not sure), he is the hardest puncher, and also punches harder than Wladi, even his punch is harder than the Muay Thai guy s kick in the Fight Science documentary who can do 816.

Either way, the 76 kg = 168 kg Taekwondoin Bren Foster is unmatched. I don't know of any martial artist / fighter etc. anywhere who has over a ton (1000 kg) of power.
Nobody can stand a ton against the stomach. I would bet even such tough guys like Chuvalo and McCall couldnt take such a shot to the stomach without being done.

    Long story short:

If Ngannou's 510 kg is correct, he is not the hardest puncher ever recorded. But this shipment where this was made uses a unit of measurement that is difficult to convert into kg and lbs.

Maybe it's intentional so that people can't check so easily?

Interesting analysis and for sure it seemed the shots Fury took from Wilder in there fights were more powerful than the punch nganou knocked fury down with. Just to let you know the translation is perfectly adequate.

I think the punch Ngannou landed bounced off the shoulder first. Took some power out of it.
