Fury is NOT an ATG.....decent fighter in a **** era. H2H a mythical problem for some....someone with possible potential but failed to provide the resume to back up the talk!! Will always be remembered for NOT who he beat but for getting up off the floor in the last round to get a draw against one of the poorest heavyweight boxers in the last 50 years!!

Do you regard Mike tyson as an all time great? If so name me 1 boxer who mike beat who if fury had faced at the same point he wouldn't have beaten?

Youngest ever heavyweight champion? Im betting Mike Tyson beat a few folk in his early years that Tyson Fury would have struggled against at the same age. Go and have a look at who Fury was fighting when aged 19, 20 and 21

So if when Fury came back from his drug suspension and fought 50 journeyman, he would have 50 title defences and be the greatest of all time? It doesn't work that way.

Quoting Lennox's opinion doesn't change facts. I know you like to quote random and pointless stuff.

Also Lennox avenged his last loss and retired on a win the imaginary lineal championship ends with him.

Your comparing peaks (miles peak was very young tysons much later) and opponents.

I tell you what name me one great fighter Mike tyson beat that wasn't at the end of their career. Holmes last ever fight, spinks end of his career, razor ruddock maybe il give you but every other genuine top fighter he lost to.

"fought 50 journeyman, he would have 50 title defences"

The concept would have been tested in that harebrained scenario but it didn't happen.

"the imaginary lineal championship ends with him"

Is it imaginary or does it end with him? Either it never existed or it ended with him, it can't be both.

Marciano retired undefeated so I guess it ended with him and Lewis was delusional about being lineal champ.

Wlad was lineal champ, everyone knew he was "the man". Fury beat him and took it from him and no one has taken it from Fury, nor has he stopped fighting.

Tyson and Holmes was not Holmes’ last ever fight

Sorry got spinks and Holmes mixed up. Spinks last ever fight and Holmes coming back after 2 years retired cos he was skint.

It's very funny. Fury hasn't even lost.

I wonder where they would have rated Holmes after he lost to blown-up LHW Spinks x2. And then came out of retirement to get blown out in 4 by Tyson. No doubt vastly lower than he's ranked today, despite us now being five eras down the road.

Fringe top 20 and even that's generous given how many huge gaps there are in his resume.

Imagine you're an employer trying to hire a guy who everyone says is amazing. You look at his resume and see random months or even years of complete inactivity. You notice the guy does random odd jobs sometimes not even bothering to work for companies within your field (bums vs ranked contenders), drug offenses, questionable performances (fouls against Cunningham, gift decision against McDormett), etc. that's the equivalent of a boxing analyst trying to judge Fury's career. There's not much to work with and you're very disappointed when he could've been so much more.

He fought Journeymen in his come back Seferi and that German guy, total bums, counting them as part of your imaginary defences is a hilariously tragic meltdown of the brain .

"Is it imaginary or does it end with him? Either it never existed or it ended with him, it can't be both."
It's imaginary so it didn't exist and yes imaginary things can end. Just like a fictional story , it is imaginary and it has an end.

Wlad was the man to beat because he had most of the belts, not because of some imaginary succession line which makes 0 sense in the real world.

    "counting them"

They all count, there have been plenty of lineal defences against journeymen through history.

"it is imaginary and it has an end."

By your logic it should have ended with Marciano. At what point and why/how did the lineage start again?

    "the belts"

They only have the status people afford them, like the lineal title the belts are human constructions. Martin had a belt after Fury was stripped but no one with a brain regarded Martin as having a stronger claim to be the legitimate heavyweight champion than Wlad-dethroner Fury.

List me Foreman's seven successful title defences please.
