Surely this fight is just round the corner? Would be a big fight down under. How do you guys see this one playing out?

Would never happen because Huni's always injured, and he's not that good anyway.

Nah Parker beats the crap out of him. Huni is not that good.

As a pure boxer Huni is exceptional, as good as anyone out there. His problem is that he lacks power. He’s not a feather fist but he’s not got a one shot KO punch.

Right now Huni vs Parker is a good fight. But in 2-3 years time Huni beats Parker level guys for fun.

Anybody saying Huni is no good is pretty ignorant. Huni is very, very good. And still very, very young so has plenty of room to improve.

Going by Goodall last night you'd have to expect Parker to put it on Huni.

    Do you think so?

Not sure I agree. He’s never been rocked and has never taken any real punishment in his fights.

Remember Huni had enough power to stop Paul Gallen the iron chinned New South Wales Skipper

With a broken hand too it has to be said.

Also overlooked is the combined record of the guys Huni has fought so far. It’s not like he’s started his professional journey beating up cans and padding his win and KO numbers like most fighters do. Huni has beaten guys with a combined record of something like 70-6 (plus draws/NC).

Huni doesn't need to be rushed like that.

If this happen in next few months this would be true test for Huni but Parker are passing his prime

    Bump.

Parker with the interim WBO strap and Huni at #1 with the WBO.
I’ve got a feeling this one will happen over the next couple of months down under, will be a great fight!

You would have to back Parker here, he just has so much more proven experience at the top level. I think Huni is a good boxer and has had some decent fights but he doesn't have the power to trouble Parker and I get the feeling that he doesn't fully trust his chin.

It would be a Parker UD or KO at this point. Although it would be a good down under fight, I think its rushing Huni a bit, in a couple years the fight could easily favour Huni more. Plus Huni and Parker both have better opportunities on the horizon at the moment, and they don't need to take the risk.
