Who wins this intriguing matchup of high tech pressure vs slick cagey southpaw? First, the super middleweight version of Derev vs the Saunders that fought Canelo, also, how would have this panned out at 160 lbs?
Honestly, I've never been particularly high on Saunders. I'll take Sergiy by decision (unless it's in the UK, which it probably would be, so on second thought I'll take BJS).
Assuming that the scoring was entirely above board and on the level, I am confident the very best version of 160lbs Sergiy beats Saunders. At 168lbs, however, I am a bit more open to persuasion.
SD...14-5 1) GGG 2) Charlo 3) Jacobs 4) Mungia 5) Adames WHAT A NAMES! I got BJS on this only cause he has less pressure on his shoulders. If SD goes to 14-6 he is ****ed up
Derevyanchenko is a very top level gate keeper still. If you defeat him you are title shot worthy. Adames, and Munguia, both deserve or will get title shots, and Jacobs, GGG, and Charlo were the best at 160 lbs. Only Charlo clearly beat him. Charlo only became elite at the time by beating him. Munguia's and Charlo's best win is Sergiy by far. Jacobs and GGG just squeaked by him.
Obviously, if Billy Joe made a comeback, then fought Sergiy after a couple of tuneups, i would favor Sergiy. At middleweight, years back, i would favor Sergiy as well, in another great fight,no guarantee though. Even the Saunders that fought Canelo vs the most recent Sergiy, would be a pickem. I would definitely be rooting for Sergiy though.
