Yesterday after Ajagba beat Goodall, the commentators were talking about a possible Zhang fight. Zhang was even in the studio and Ajagba himself was talking about Zhang during the pre fight press conference apparently. Seems like they're trying to set it up.

So how would this go? Zhang would start as the favourite but Ajagba is getting better every fight, could be a more interesting clash than a lot of people seem to think in my opinion.

Zhang would KO Ajagba early, he's even more hittable that Joyce you only need to compare Joyce and Ajagba's performances against Kiladze to see that. While Ajagba has made some improvement his defence is still sorely lacking and that really only means one thing, he gets sparked out cold, probably even sooner than Joyce.

I got Zhang by stoppage. He'd definitely be the biggest puncher Ajagba faced, and Ajagba has been put down by much lesser punchers already. Couple that with his high hittability and it doesn't bode well for his chances against guys who can crack extra hard.

That said, even though his last time being dropped was against a guy not known for big punching, he hasn't really been hurt since and has improved a great deal in the meantime. If I'm not mistaken he also has a bit of a reach advantage and has shown recently he's not half bad at working off his jab. I back Zhang all the way and even predict a round 4-6 KO, but I do think Ajagba would make it interesting while it lasted. If nothing else it'd be an interesting learning experience for a man who has shown he can learn from a loss.

I think Zhang stops Ajagba if they were to meet right now but in 12 months time the result could be a different story.

    Does Ajagba see something ?

Zhang should stop him in a couple rounds

First thought is Zhang, but Efe is improving and his right hand is lethal. I think it's much closer than it is viewed.

I don't like Ajagba's chances in this one, Ajagba has improved but Zhang is at a higher level, Ajagba also has defensive issues and Zhang knows how to use that, so Zhang by knockout between the 6th and 8th round...

Ajagba is underrated and improving every fight. I think he takes Zhang into deep waters and beats him on points.

Ajagba has improved a lot. But at this moment he is C level. Zhang is A level. There is a real gap between them. Got to see Ajagba against some B level opposition.
