Worked out well for them as the Matchroom show in Belfast was much more interesting to be honest. Great for the undercard fighters that the card is still going ahead but at York Hall on December 1. I presume Gwynne will headline for the European Title.

Gutted. Can’t wait to see that Sheeraz flattened since that Skeete fight. Would loved Williams to have done it. Still can’t get over that Eubank fight though. Was winning rounds but getting dropped by jabs!

Sheeraz has a broken eardrum mate.
Doubt Liam Williams is that guy. He’s shot to pieces and was on the brink of retirement a few months ago.

I have always said that Denzel Bentley would beat Sheeraz which is why Warren hasn’t made that fight yet. Rumours were that Sheeraz would fight Janibek after beating Liam Williams, so if that does happen in 2024 your wish will be fulfilled as Janibek would make light-work of Sheeraz.

I read Sheeraz has a perforated eardrum. But I do believe a collapsed arsehole is just as believable.

Hyped up to the max and getting battered off an old Skeete, cheats and blatant corruption from the ref let’s him get away with it. That’s going to turn me into a hater for sure. Don’t see why he should get a pass for that.

He was being messed about and outmanoeuvred by Skeete, but to say he was being battered is nonsense. Hamza had started catching up to Bradley by the round before the time of the Knock down and would have stopped him regardless of the follow up illegal punches anyway.

Nothing to do with his race if that's what you're trying to insinuate. Sheeraz is another fighter who is being matched well with smaller opponents who can't punch. Like I said before there's a reason why he hasn't fought Denzel Bentley next. As he gets older and fills out at 168, he will struggle even more as he won't have the size advantage which he relies on. Crazy that Carl Frampton called him "the best prospect in world boxing".

The business isn’t currently in the right place to do Bentley - Sheeraz. It’s not big enough yet to do heavy ticket sales in this market and it won’t generate the revenues needed to make it worth the risk for all involved.

Frank has a strategic partnership with the Peacock guys and after losing Dubois, Bentley is the current biggest name in their gym. He’s also been beat at domestic level, so another loss would be damaging.

Meanwhile, Frank see’s Hamza as a long term investment with a potentially much higher ceiling than Denzel, so they are weighing up the risk of him losing now at British level.

I have said it here before, but I heard they are keen on bringing Janibek over to fight Sheeraz next year as a calculated risk. Plans can always change but they would rather do that is my understanding.

You're right, Liam Williams is a smaller opponent who can't punch... come on bro. Sheeraz should've been disqualified against Skeete but he offered Skeete the rematch right away and Skeete decided to retire. Look at what he's done since he moved up to middleweight. Ammo Williams is the top American prospect at 160 took 8 rounds to beat Wilson-Bent whereas Sheeraz took 2. Francisco Torres beat Jose Benavidez (corrupt judges gave it a draw) but lost to Sheeraz in 4 rounds (and Benavidez is now fighting Charlo for the WBC title). His last opponent was an olympian part of usyks team and an undefeated ukrainian but still got stopped in 2. Sheeraz has looked great at 160 and as far as the Denzel Bentley fight goes, Frank has always said that he wants those two to fight each other after one wins a world title. He plans to have Janibek come to the UK next year to rematch Bentley or fight Sheeraz and if they lose then they will do Sheeraz vs Bentley for a title eliminator.

When I say battered I mean on the score cards. How do you know? He was dropped but the damage was done in the 2/3 shots that came when he was on the floor. There was only one round left wasn’t there? Skeete could have easily survived that and won on points.
