    I think you’ll find a lot of the guys being called “light” hitters can hit as hard as most of their peers. Benitez was to Cus something along the lines of an “uncommitted” puncher which Cus said was a mistake, if I’m remembering right. He and many others just didn’t want to set themselves enough to punch hard, Emile Griffith is a guy I reckon is in a similar vein as Wilfred, in just that aspect.​

    Just a sideline comment re that fight, Moore gave Marciano all he wanted in that fight. Great fight imo. I really think old Arch took Rocky very close to the absolute limits of his durability. Rocky had to fight for all he was worth to ultimately prevail. Very wise of Rocky to retire after that fight. I think Arch took a good chunk of him away.
