Holyfield is more proven, I usually tend to go with the more proven fighter. So Holyfield W UD12. Maybe a SD. If Fury actually does take the win against Usyk it chances things. Which I think he can, but he has not in fact actually done it. That being said everyone matches up the Ngannou version of Fury. It’s not like Holyfield has not had many bad performances. I will keep it prime vs prime.
Which version of Tyson Fury is the real question. Slob version, Holyfield pummels the crap out of him. Sends him back to the caravan for icepacks. Best version, he frustrates Holy with his length and clinches and outpoints him.
Imagine Tyson Fury on high grade 90's horse steriods? God damn, What are we missing out on. No glorified cruiserweight on the planet can beat Tyson Fury and you will all understand that after Usyk gets dispatched by belly.
Holyfield does not have a good record against modern superheavyweights. I believe that Holyfield would accept that fight as well, but he would lose one way or another. Fury (Wlad fight), or Fury (Wilder 2 fight) would beat any Holyfield (and Bowe 1 fight).
In that case, Holyfield would have a record of 2:4 against modern superheavyweights, because he should, realistically, have lost both fights to Lewis.
Holyfield has a combined record of 1-5 against Bowe and Lewis, two actual super heavies. Really I would make it 0-5 because Holyfield only won the 2nd bout against Bowe because the fan man interfered. Just before that Bowe was catching up to him which indicates he would've toppled Holyfield as the fight progressed. Some people argue Holyfield should've lost against Foreman who is also more or less a super heavy in the punching power and chin department. Still, however you want to slice this the guy just doesn't have good performances against super heavies. Fury isn't on par with Bowe and Lewis in the skill department, but he is more clever than them and knows how to take better advantage of his size. I don't see Holyfield winning this fight, not once Fury starts landing some good hits which he will do.
Fury specialises in getting dumped on his ass by cruiserweights. I expect him to get pummelled and wrecked by the Evandelicious one.
I was wondering that myself. I don't ever recall hearing someone claim that. Foreman was game, but absolutely lost without any shadow of a doubt whatsoever.
