Hopey is very talented and I think he'll do well, but only thing is his last few fights have been boring to watch . Can't see him becoming an attraction the way he's fighting at the moment.

He has skills for sure. But put him in with a hard punching, pressure fighting beast like Nick Ball, and Ball absolutely ****ing destroys him.

The beast that withdrew from a British title fight against an unbeaten fighter. Ball looks good but his best win is issac lowe who's not done much won the English title and a international title. Not saying price is a star in the making but Balls record is flooded with imports.

I thought it was Nathaniel Collins who pulled out of the Ball fight with a hand injury. It seems like Ball wants to be really fast tracked so he's not waiting around.

Quote from Ball '' He had his chance to fight and he pulled out with a sore hand. If that was me, I would get in the ring with one hand working and I have done. There are no excuses, if you've got a fight you get in and fight, especially for the British title''

I suppose it's true he hasn't beaten much yet. Lowe is an OK win, and that south african he put in a coma was an OK win. Still it's the manner in which he's won that has impressed me, some real highlight reel KO's. We'll see Saturday night, cause Dogboe is probably his toughest opponent yet.

I rate Price, I just think stylistically Ball is all wrong for him.

The board re ordered the fight ball withdrew. It wasnt like his stepped up a level his boxed unknown imports since lowe and the fight was ordered. He dodged a British title shot
Dogboe is a step up in level but his moving up in weight after 2 very tough fights with naveratte and a couple of low key opposition. Then the loss to ramirez Which he lost wide. Be interesting to see what he has left in the tank. Could b good match making by Balls team.

To be fair, it's Dogboe's sixth fight at 126, and while they're no world-beaters he did beat Lopez and (particularly) Gonzalez who I wouldn't call low-key opposition. Robeisy is an excellent fighter, no real shame in losing wide to him, I think he's the best 126 pounder in the world.

Agree the matchmaking post-Lowe has been unknown quantities, was actually fairly impressed with the last guy though - definitely required figuring out, solid win from Ball.

Dogboe is a good step-up for Ball but you’re right about him moving up in weight and also a lot of Dogboe’s wins have been very dubious. He could have 2-3 more losses on his record.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Nick Ball up against Michael Conlan to be honest next year.

Conlan has no chin. Ball kills him
