It depends which Fury turns up, assuming the focused elusive high ring IQ Fury still exists. That's what makes this fascinating. Certainly if Fury gives another poor performance and Usyk gets a UD, it's no longer a question of 'has' Fury permanently declined. Personally I still believe Fury could gain focus from the Ngannou **** show, and give Usyk the fight of his life. We'll see. One things for sure, Usyk will turn up as focused and determined as ever.
2 days after my 30th birthday. Clearly God is on my side, and God will always be on Usyk's My brother My captain My king
I guarantee if we see this fight Tyson will be clinching for most of it. I have a feeling possible DQ after getting picked apart by Usyk
I'm still hoping Tyson Fury doesn't have any tricks under his sleeves. Anything regarding Fury-Usyk I'm always skeptical.
My predicted card Main card Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk Zhilei Zhang vs Dereck Chisora Joe Joyce vs TBA Fabio Wardley vs Frazer Clarke Undercard Denys Berinchyk vs TBA David Adeleye vs Bohdan Myronets Daniel Lapin vs TBA Oleksandr Solomenniko vs TBA Karol Itauma vs TBA Royston Barney Smith vs TBA
I think the window for this fight has already passed... a lot of the buzz has gone now considering how flat Fury looked against that big stiff MMA guy.. & it was getting old before that anyway... the only way HW boxing can salvage some form of Dignity now is if Usyk schools him & some B level HW puts Ngannou in his place ASAP too..
Fair play to Fury for making this fight, people criticised him for not fighting Usyk so they should now equally praise him for making this fight especially when undisputed and unification fights are so notoriously difficult to make, this one’s been made in a year. That being said, Usyk is going to completely wipe the floor with fury, the fight won’t even be competitive. Fury is completely finished as a fighter, all the Alcohol and substance abuse and the fights with wilder have taken their toll. Usyk by TKO within 6 rounds
This makes a lot of sense. All it needs is Joyce vs an American. Or even Joyce vs Ortiz or someone like that if they can negotiate it.
Praise him for something he should have done straight away? Nah, mate. If anything, it makes it even worse. Fury claims to be the lineal champion as well as "no man born from his mother can beat me". Sure, the lineal thing is hogwash, just a cheap PR thing, always was and always will be. But the point is, Fury's main interest in the last years was to sell himself as this absolute fighting machine, taking any challengers on. As a champion, you state without words "I'm the king - who dares to challenge me? Come forward, come all of you pretenders, I'll show you all why I'm king". So for not doing for two years what a champion should have done and fight the other guy staking his claim to be king, but messing around for two years only to put pen to paper finally, is not praiseworthy in my book at all. He did something he could have and should have done years ago - no cigar for something like that.
He was never high ring IQ. If he was he wouldn't have struggle with Ngannou. It's one thing to being lazy and not be in shape(if we suggest that was him vs Ngannou), and completely another to get outboxed by a f*** MMA guy, and put you into your **** and you literally had no solution for it. Ring IQ doesn't disappear somehow, just because you "supposedly" hasn't been training seriously. He was always a top fighter, but very overrated, based on a off night of 39,6 old Klitschko. Who also had an off night against Jenning before that.
No praise for Fury being shamed into fighting Usyk. I look forward to Usyk making Fury look like the glorified amateur he is. Finally, Usyk will be undisputed!
