His accomplishments were erased from the record books as angry welterweights lined up and took turns beating the dog **** out of him.

it wasn't fair " He was used to Joe Cortez protecting him & didn't realize he had to fight back himself Bayless took over as Floyds Mother Hen ROFL Remember Floyd's girlish scream " He Bit Me "
2.... Right Motor Mouth.. Now show me where anyone concerned with that loaded gloves debacle showed one iota of evidence that Margarito EVER did anything wrong. They couldn't they had none. If they did have undeniable evidence & proved he had, they'd have indicted him & rightly so But they had NOTHING!! only a pack of lies & unfounded SUSPICIONS!!!!!! The CSAC's statement proved that The CSAC said " We will not be giving Mr Margarito his license to box in Ca. because we STILL SUSPECT he MAY have tried to load his gloves in the fight with Mosely. The guily parties there were Naz Richardson for lying about PLASTER BLOCKS that started the whole she bang. Shane Mosely, himself a PROVEN & Eventually SELF CONFESSED Steroid Abuser. When he had to come clean after BALCO produced receipts for the steroids with his john henry on them . He'd previously claimed he'd passed two lie detector tests he was innocent LOL He was without doubt juiced to the gills against a sick demoralized Margarito that night too
3.... NO fight records of Margarito's were ever removed or changed whatsoever yet another lie I knew Tony from 1999 when I met him in Ft Worth Texas well over 20 years. Saw many of his fights from ringside over the years the only fights I saw him LEGITIMATELY lose were to Paul The Punisher Williams in a close fight. Both Paul & Tony wanted to rematch but Dan Goosen's comment was " No way Jose Margarito is in our past & not our future" You cannot blame him for saying that lol The Pacquaio fight was the only other fight I saw him legitimately lose.
This was one of the biggest injustices ever in the sport of boxing & led the wy to the sport today being compared to WWE Wrestling who at least are honest when describing it as Sports ENTERTAINMENT!! & not a legitimate combat sport

Plus he had never applied for a TUE for any saline or claimed he was dehydrated. The NSAC merely issued this statement " Mr Mayweather did nothing wrong, we will not be investigating further" !!!!!!! Yeah Right Then the icing on the cake they issued him a retroactive TUE for the saline THREE WEEKS after he was caught. WhenFloyd was asked about being dehydrated he mumbled
" Err Err my urine was dark Very Dark" So why didn't he apply for a TUE he knew the rules ???????

Robbing another fighter due to robbing means nothing in the end

 

The way I see it is. If you claim to be champion, when you know you really lost that fight, & you know that anyone who sees the fight know you lost too, then you are NOT a legitimate champion. We all know that the day has gone when a boxing match always ends with the legitimate winner getting the decision. The home boy,cash cow, guy with the $$$$$$$$$$$$ behind him type is the one gets the winning decision. as often as the better boxer. This is ILLEGAL!!!!
Really when you look at the facts, you can understand the Olympic Committee dropping boxing from the Games because finding five honest judges to adjudicate seems impossible. The ludicrous scoring rules when 3 of the 5 judges must hit the scoring punch button at same time to get a scoring punch logged is laughable. Some of those judges are in their 70's & older & reactions are slower. Its sad to see the sport lost a boxers chance to be crowned an Olympic Champion

 

How casual are you? Guys with Margarito's style do not have a long career. And he was doing more of the same in the Cotto rematch post wraps scandal. You don't put a lot of critical thinking in your reactionary posts...

 

More of the same in terms of what? Antonio Margarito was an elite welterweight until he got caught, then turned into a human punching bag while sitting in the dressing room for the Mosley fight.

Then he got trounced vs Shane, annihilated vs. Cotto, and beaten beyond recognition by Pac.

Like I said, which you clearly didn't bother to read, Margarito was looking like the guy who beat Cotto the first fight in their rematch before the beating got to him and Cotto stopped him. And that was AFTER the Mosley and Pac fights. I guess you believe he was allowed the wraps in the cotto rematch?

The guy that beat Cotto was getting beaten up until that plaster hardened and Cotto's face turned into a swollen, bloody mess.

Vargas didn't look like a top killer against Trinidad, Wright, or even Shibata Flores, who had wobbled him badly right before the DLH fight.

You seem to still be smarting over some other discourse, but you can't just go around saying dumb stuff like "top killer" and "Superbowl" while presenting yourself as some sort of savant.
