From an Australian perspective I look at Michael Zerafa. I've said this before but as much as he's Tszyu's rival, who is my favourite boxer, I actually like Michael '' Pretty Boy '' Zerafa. His name could easily be Michael '' Bad Boy '' Zerafa which also suits him just as good. He could also just as easily be Mike '' Bad Boy '' Barnes from Karate Kid 3. What a movie. What a performance. He's got that Hollywood about him too, just like good old Deakin. From Karate Kid 3 to The Bold and the Beautiful. LMAO. Charlo is much like a Bad Boy too. In common with Zerafa is that they both bitched out against Tszyu. Jermell '' B1tch Bad Boy '' Charlo. Good fighters though and great for the sport. A lot of their bad boy persona is just an act and I know they'd be good people at heart. '' Iron '' Mike Tyson to some degree for sure. What an animal he was. The best ever at his prime? Maybe. For me that goes with Floyd. Another great '' Bad Boy '' but also a bit of an act. Anthony Mundine also fits into this category. Also from a domestic level ( Australia ) Has Hamden is fitting this description. Maybe more cheeky than bad. I like him though. He's a great fighter, has a cockiness about him but he has a right to be. Who are some of boxing's bad boys, both past and present?
Ricardo Mayora fit this role to a tee. Too bad he didn't have the boxing skills to go along with it, but man was he entertaining on the mic.
Before he go all messed up at the end of his career Paul Briggs was a seriously bad MF. He was a pro kick boxer at age 15 then was involved in organized crime before taking up boxing full time.
He was known as the blade in a violent street gang called the black spades. Don't know too much detail in what he actually did.
