I find it unlikely Wallin will be there to be hit like Helenius was, at least not when AJ is fresh enough to produce that sort of power but I do think Wallin himself gasses a bit late in fights. I have a feeling Wallin might deserve a win if this goes 12 but be hard done by with the judges to set up AJ vs. Wilder.

"If the top draws fought the best they'd fail."

If they fought the best consistently they would fail and their career would be short lived, they'd make a quarter of what they would compared to if they let certain fights marinate and try and navigate their careers wisely, they're prize fighters after all. This is their thought process whether you agree or disagree with it.

I get the impression in the UFC, Dana White rules with an iron fist and doesn't allow this thought process to manifest with his fighters, hence why there's more competitive matches and most fighters don't stay at the top very long. From a fan's perspective that's great.

Yes it is great and that's what we all want in boxing to.

Why should we watch a top name face an worthy fighters when there's better fights that could and should be made, furthermore why should we be paying.

    Excellent points made.

Great card. Bivol was invisible with so many HW's.

I hope they can make Beterbiev vs Bivol next and they can make Loma return

By the sounds of things it doesn't even look like AJ vs The Dosser is next up should they both emerge victorious on the 23rd of Dec. I thought that was the whole point of them fighting on the same card

Richard Rivera would have been a far better opponent than goddamn bummy ass Lyndon Arthur. Lyndon should be rematching Suarez instead, that's the true level he belongs on.

I was happy to hear he'd be getting a title shot, then incredibly disappointed when they announced he wouldn't be the fighter up against Bivol after all. Still a bit sour about how they ****ed him over against Badou Jack, so I was happy to see him getting a title shot that, in my mind and many others, he should have already had. Granted, his chances against Bivol probably aren't near as good as they'd have been against Makabu, but it would have been nice anyways.

Maybe he's just being cautious about fighting in the middle east. Can't say I blame him, given their history of... let's say "finding the time" for him

    You'd think.
Furthermore, what's the probability that AJ & DW both win. 50%? Many think Wallin & Parker are live dogs.
Finally, the ongoing AJ-Wilder sad drama is much worse than Fury-Usyk. The former has been ongoing for over half a decade :shakehead:

Interesting that Joshua is using Ben Davison as his trainer for this fight despite Hearn telling us earlier that would not be the case.

Is the headstrong Joshua getting away with more with Davison than he could with Derrick James? He has tended to prefer yes men. Until he loses of course. Then he blames them and sacks them.

If Parker can withstand Wilder's early onslaught

    He has an excellent chance
