WBC is the worst by far and the rest are varying degrees of sh*t.

The lineage is all that matters

Tyson Fury is the WBC champ and the lineal champ and will be the favorite in his unification with Usyk.

And Fury will be immediately stripped by the IBF after he beats Usyk ... because the IBF will say the winner of Hrgovic and FILL IN THE BLANK is "really" the champ.

And, given the IBF's glorious history of stripping Hall of Famers, FILL IN THE BLANK will win, not Hrgovic. :duh

The IBF's mission should be "WE BREAK LINEAGES." They are the most strip-happy org in recent memory.

The Welterweight Title was unified for the first time in forever earlier this year, and they immediately broke it up.

The Heavyweight title will be unified for the first time in forever, and they have already said they plan to break it up instantly.:hang

I mostly agree with you, except that Fury isn't the lineal champ in my eyes. IBF is pretty bad, but are we going to pretend that the WBC doesn't have at least 2 active email champions?

If lineage is all that matters, the IBF should be at the bottom of the list.

They tell you before UNIFICATIONS they are going to strip champs and give the belt to someone else.

The best fighting the best and deciding matters in the ring isn't a concept the IBF remotely follows.

You win IBF titles at rules committee hearings, not in the ring. Did you follow this arbitrary rule we made up? No. Then you aren't the best fighter in the division.

In the last five years, they stripped Fury. They stripped Canelo. They stripped Golovkin. They stripped Crawford. All future Hall of Famers. And already announced they're going to strip the winner of Fury-Usyk.

They've been doing this since the 2000s began.

Tim Bradley and Devon Alexander decided to unify, so they stripped Alexander because they wanted him to fight Kaizer Mabuza. Of couse, Mabuza lost his vacant title fight, too.

Jose Luis Castillo and Julio Diaz agreed to unify, so they stripped Diaz and decided Stefano Zoff was more deserving of a title shot.

The IBF simply doesn't care who the best fighter is in the division. They just want a boxer who fights every Czar Glazkov and Kaizer Mabuza that sits in their #1 spot. Otherwise, you're out.

It's the truth fanboy. For some boxers, having a belt is the only way to get on the radar. Wouldn't expect you to know that though...

I don't get the hate towards IBF. They have rules and they are following them. Can you say the same for WBC? The rules are always changing, and it's money talk. We see that with Wilder, and Fury now.

Good point, but when was this sting? 20 years ago? 30 years ago?

In comparison to an FBI government backed operation, any interested observer using Google can amass pages of evidence over the last 15 years demonstrating corruption in the WBC: deletion/tampering with public facing documents, conflicts of interest (where board members work for a promoter, a venue, and the governing org at the same time), etc. etc.

I agree the whole system is likely corrupt, but the WBC are laughing in our faces with the **** they pull year on year.
