Christmas Eve Eve in Riyadh, co-headlining alongside Joshua vs. Wallin with the winners set to meet in 2024, per ESPN.

Neither holds any hardware but given their mutual high rankings this would likely be an eliminator of some kind. Wilder is WBC & WBA #1, and WBO #5 (he was previously also IBF #3 as of negotiations to face Joshua in August, but has since been dropped from the rankings by that org last month after hitting a year of inactivity). Parker - keeping a busier schedule having fought thrice this year already - is WBO #6, IBF #4 and WBC #10 (unrated by the WBA).

    1 month away

Parker has been very active this year unlike Wilder

I think just on styles alone and with Parker's chin this is going to be a tough night for Wilder

Wilder could even break his hand like against Stiverne and that would be curtains for him.

But the smart money is Wilder is a wierdo and does wierd things, hand of devil KO.

Parker doesn’t have the same feet nowadays. Parker could have easily outpointed Wilder when he was champ ( if he could avoid the right hand ). Kronk Parker shouldn’t beat Wilder

Good fight and will be a KO. Wilder should win but Parker is a live dog.

Come on, Kiwis. You can do better than this. Wilder looked shot to pieces against Fury & has done jack since. Time to get a little bit excited.

Correction: Parker does now hold some hardware, albeit minor championships that are contested over a 10-round distance. (claiming both the IBF's and WBO's version of the Intercontinental title, both vacant, in his most recent victory over Simon Kean, also in Riyadh, a few weeks ago)

Not sure these'll be on the line as Wilder at this late stage of his career probably wouldn't consider such lesser prizes worth paying the sanctioning fees. He's probably all-in laser-focused on the Joshua vs. Wallin winner to set up a final world title challenge, and should he lose to either Parker or AJ/Wallin you have to expect he'd be packing it in.

And yes, they're doing the whole "twelve rounder even though nothing's on the line" thing with this. Hopefully it does announced to be an eliminator; otherwise there's no justification for scheduling 12 rounds IMO, always leaves a bad taste in my mouth when they do that.

Parker by mid to late TKO. Wilder will be rusty, and I think Parker is the better boxer who will be able to take a couple of right hands to deliver some brutal uppercuts.

Of course Wilder has insane power, but that's all he has.

Hoping for Parker, but gun to my head, would have to go with Wilder.

    Wilder Wins by KO3

That being said Parker looks fresh. Wilder is starting to look a bit old and scruffy. Like he is using drugs or something.

This doesn't go the distance, but don't write Parker off. He might pull this off

I think Parker is a live dog. I'll be rooting for Joe, but would want good odds to bet on Joe.

I hope Joe beats Dosser even if that lowers the chance of AJ vs. DW. I'm very tired of the several years "who's ducking who" dance between AJ & DW :argue:
Let them both lose and have a losers bracket bout for modest money. Would be justice served for them and their promoters :p

I hate picking Wilder but.............Wilder by outright KO (not even TKO)

Joseph Parker's chin has slowly been eroded, he's shown a good one throughout his career but your chin is a ticking time bomb. I think he still has one but not the kind that's gonna get clipped multiple times by Wilder and survive. Wilder can and probably will fight sloppy, uncoordinated, and look like a windmilling rag doll but he'll definitely clip Parker because if Wilder is nothing else, he's quick enough to clip everyone. Parker don't move his feet enough anymore he's gonna get hit.

Ultimately I think this is a setup for Joshua/Wilder assuming both win and I assume both will. The assumption is Wilder beats a former tough champion and Joshua beats the man who cut and made Fury look bad.
