Meh, at least hes being active. The guys wanted (and been in position) to get a title shot for a couple of years now. He just needs to keep ticking over and getting Ws
I thought about it and came to the conclusion that it would be better if Hrgovic did not fight at that event, I have the feeling that they are mocking Hrgovic by choosing the opponent...
This is horrible. Unheard of for a guy who could be one of the best HWs in the world right now, in his prime. 31 years old. Never before in boxing have fighters gotten THIS old until they stepped up. Obviously its politics and not all their fault but at some point you just have to bet on yourself and take short money to get a chance at a big fight, stardom.
Bakole is one thing, Makmudov would be 50/50 fight, no money and biggest risk Hrgovic could take, 2 years he is waiting on Usyk, and risk it all on a beast of Makmudov, I get if you had said Joshua or Wilder, beacuse he could make money on that, but Makmudov is no money + high risk.
De Mori is bad for Hrgovic's reputation and boxing resume, I believe that Lucas Browne would agree to the fight, and he is better and far better known to the public...
It's entirely possible that Christopher Lovejoy could beat Mark De Mori. De Mori was never good and now he's old. And I'm pretty sure he's spent his entire post-Haye career fighting the same fighter (Laszlo Toth) repeatedly in Croatia. I'd double-check that on Boxrec, but it's scarcely worth the ten or so seconds of time it would take to do so.
