It was hilarious to see how Fury is absolutely petrified of Usyk.

The usual Fury nuthuggers will flock to this thread obviously, but as usual, they don't understand anything related to boxing or Fury's behaviour and psychology.

When was the last time Fury was this aggressive for no apparent reason with anyone, especially three months before the fight? When Fury is confident and relaxed, he jokes around, teases, and talks like he is on a talk show. Look at how he behaved with Whyte, Chisora, Klitschko, heck, even against Wilder. When did he get tense and physical like that, especially three months away from the actual fight?

The answer is never, obviously. Fury knows Usyk will be the end of him and no matter what he does, he only has but two chances - slim and none. Usyk is not only the most technically gifted HW of the last 20 or so years, but he is also the fastest, most agile, with the best ring IQ and ridiculous gas tank who always took care of his body and lived his life as the consummate professional.

Fury knows the way he abused his body will not have been without consequences. His legs are gone compared to what they were around ten years ago. Usyk has also slowed down but he is so much closer to his peak than Fury to his peak that it's not even funny at this point.

Fury was further freaked out by two psychological factors. The first is that he just can't bully or provoke Usyk at all. Usyk is simply too strong for him mentally. The second thing is, that Usyk mentioned how God will give him the victory like he gave it to David over Goliath. I don't know whether it was intentional or not to paint this Biblical picture, but the point is, that Fury was visibly shaken and triggered by it. Fury knows that his lifestyle (greed, lying, cheating on his wife etc.) is anything but that of a God-fearing faithful Christian. Usyk, on the other hand, indeed lives as a man of faith so if Fury honestly believes in God and that God will give the victory to the more righteous guy, he knows Usyk beats him in the piety department too.

Now don't get me wrong - as an atheist, I don't care either way. But being a non-believer doesn't make me incapable of appreciating how important and powerful faith is to believers and what mental strength they can have if they feel that God is on their side. Fury always seemed to be at least a (what I call) 'casual Christian' - he believes in God but doesn't live a strictly Christian lifestyle. Usyk, on the other hand, is an Orthodox Christian who dedicates an entire day every week to go to church, pray, read the Bible and whatnot. Did Usyk's obvious and well-known pious attitude and way of life further agitate Fury? I think it undeniably did.

17th February will be the purgation of the HW division as Usyk dominates and batters Fury into retirement.

    Thanks.

Is there any information about how much each fighter will receive?

I doubt Ngannou beats AJ and all of Hunter, Gassiev, Dubois, Briedis etc. Usyk has fought the same number of times this year as Fury, who didn't even fight a professional boxer and nearly lost. Stop trying to excuse Fury's embarrassing display in his last fight.

Fury being Fury, I'm glad to see them finally face off in a press conference (not that it means the fight will happen). I think Fury will do what he does best and defy expectations, turning up in similar shape to when he did against Wilder in their rematch and win by late stoppage or points. He knows Usyk is a challenge and I don't see him taking this one lightly.

Oh wow, a massive Fury supporter who lies about being a Fury supporter harbours negative feelings against a team member of Usyk? Well I never - truly shocking turn of events, who would have thought!

Your love-hate-love emotional rollercoaster with Fury is quite hard to keep track of.

Fury did it three years before the first Wilder fight, and before every actual Wilder fight. He didn't against Chisora and Whyte because those fights were jokes. He's going to demolish Usyk.

Fury is a big goof, until he ISN'T. Every belt Usyk has at heavyweight was Fury's. Nobody beat Fury for them.

    Usyk certainly didn't.

    You are missing the point.

The fight is three months away and Usyk never had a bad word about Fury. All these instances were just before or close to fight night and there were animosity. There's no animosity from Usyk's side, he just lives rent free in Fury's head.

All this blah blah about Fury's belts is laughable. The guy was banned for PEDs, ducked the Wlad rematch and ducked Joshua for years. He briefly held those belts some eight years ago - get over it, he lost them fair and square because he is a cheat and a coward and will never get them back because Usyk will slap him silly when he tries. Hopefully you and the other obnoxious Fury stans also disappear from here after Usyk cleanses the HW division from the cancer that is Duckson Fraudy.

Deontay Wilder didn't have any animosity toward Fury when Fury got in the ring after Wilder's title defense and got in his face and called him out in 2015.

Hell, Fury got up and congratulated Charles Martin that night when Martin won the belt the IBF stripped from Fury only 10 days into his reign.

Wilder didn't have any animosty toward Fury before their first fight until Fury started in.

Before they get in the ring, Usyk is going to be the one losing his cool. He almost lost it today when Fury started pushing him with his head. You could see it on Usyk's face.

As Fury said, he's there "to pick a fight."

Usyk should take it as a compliment. Fury sees him as a challenge, like he did Wilder.

Usyk won't be facing the goofball Fury. Crying foul and looking for the ref to make Fury follow the rules isn't going to help, either, when Fury is shoving Usyk's head back and holding and hitting.

It's going to be a mauling.

So the last time Fury was abusing PEDs?

Good to see you’re acknowledging the change which aligns with what many are thinking (hence the Dec 23 date change)

I agree. The last time some idiot tried to get physical with Usyk during a presser was battered senseless on fight night. Usyk warned your cult leader too that he will do his talking in the ring. It will be a mauling alright, just not the type you and other Furyettes would like to see. I can't wait to see Fury all bloodied and bruised up, it will be one of the most satisfying sights in boxing history. Justice will be served, I can't wait.

I also love the fact you as a Fury nuthugger admitted what a joke of an opponent Whyte was. It's brilliant when you guys shoot yourself in the foot like that and given how you are not the sharpest tools in the shed, it happens quite frequently.

When Fury fought Whyte, your congregation's narrative was what a brutal and dangerous top fighter Whyte was. Now you just discredited that "big win" of Fury yourself. Up until now, Whyte was the other guy you Fury fans talked bout how Fury fought top opponents.

But thank you for stating the obvious. So Fury fought only one top guy in the last eight years - a zero technique, zero head movement Wilder with terrible movement and foot work. That's it, three fights against a limited one-trick-pony, that's all his elite level fighting experience since 2015.

In a way, Fury and you, his fans, are right. Fury has a historical significance in boxing. Because never in the history of boxing was another guy with such a laughably thin resume yet still so overrated by so many.
