He has had a truly bizarre career, he has 40 wins against complete nobody’s. I thought his cash out was against haye, but no, he has two cash out fights in him.

I get that Bakole couldn't make the fight, but really, nobody better was available? Hrgovic's resume starts to look rather ridiculous with these Australian journeymen. The guy is supposed to be the next big thing in HW boxing yet he arguably lost to a jet lagged 40-year-old, then went to life and death with a journeyman and now he is about to fight a 42-year-old journeyman.

What's next, a fight against Riddick Bowe?

If you're this experienced and claiming to be a title contender, you can't fight an opponent that shot Haye ducked Charr to destroy years ago. It's just terrible PR.

When did he go life and death with a journeyman?

Maybe Faiga Opelu next for Hrgovic followed by Lucas Browne and then Justis Huni? Try and go through the Aussies 1 at a time.

De Miri is ranked nearly 300 in the world. So there were nearly 300 better options !

Clear His Excellency had spent most of his pocket money and only had enough left for De Mori level.

Garbage fight, but I guess the silver lining is that Hrgovic is actually staying somewhat active for once.

De Mori is 41-2 (36 KOs) and he hasn't lost in almost 8 years

And that loss came against a Brit who possessed murderous KO power in either hand

His only other loss was almost 20 years ago

Ya'll tripping. This is hands down the best match up on the card

Anything but a knockout in the first round is out of the question, Hrgovic must demolish him attractively and not be further criticized after the fight...

Yes, though to be fair Demsey McKean is miles better than De Mori and was only about 32-33 when he fought Hrgovic. De Mori is basically at the level of a Christopher Lovejoy or whoever it was that fought Jonathan Guidry a couple weeks back.

Basically, De Mori was Don King's re-boot of Peter Mc Neeley. He pumped up De Mori in the rankings and then planned to expend De Mori against Stiverne who held the WBC strap at the time.

But the wheels came off that bus when Stiverne lost his belt to Wilder.

There used to be a YT clip of De Mori getting starched by fellow Aussie and club fighter John Wyborn back in 2004. Alas, it is long gone.
