Do you not realize that styles make fights?? Navarette is slow af doesn't have quicker reflexes than Santos nor is he as explosive. The two fight nothing alike. Shakur feasts on guys like Navarette better fights for both to take because Navarette would get a boxing lesson. He went life and death with a guy Shakur damn near shut out. Navarette can be outboxed and he would get outboxed by Shakur.

 

Pimp doesn’t believe in fact checking. Racial bias doesn’t work that way…

 

The sad part about this event was that I think Top Rank must have believed that both Shakur and Navarrete would look good so they would set up a fight between them. Both fights didn’t turn out the way they hoped.

 

Look I don't care what else you think after this fight, but if you think after this performance Shakur is a pound-for-pound level fighter, or that there are more than three in the world (Crawford, Inoue, Usyk), you are just a straight up fanboy.

 

Navarette is the only guy crazy enough who would fight him even after that snoozefest. For him a fight is just a fight. Would be interesting, navarette is a fighter that stevenson hasnt seen yet. Navarette hasnt got no rhythm in his boxing style everything is akward.

I can actually sorta relate. A buddy of mine who ain't too into boxing sometimes sits and watches them with me when he comes to hang out, and last time we did that was the Kambosos-Hughes fight. Bad showing from the favored guy AND a robbery. Pretty sure I inadvertently made him never wanna watch boxing. But maybe there's some hope, cause even that wasn't as awful as this ****
