I think Crawford is considerably better than a lot of forum members believe he is. His resume may be a bit lacking but his eye test skills are phenomenal. That being said, welterweight Hearns is a really tough ask.

One of Crawford's big strengths is his reach and the way he uses it. All of that goes away against the uber-long Hitman. Hearns is more powerful and welterweight Hearns was just as quick. Crawford's switch-hitting may be an advantage and I've never thought of Hearns as much of a thinker while Crawford is very intelligent.

All in all, Crawford makes him work but Hearns eventually puts him away. I've got Hearns by mid to late round stoppage.

    How about Crawford vs Benitez?

    Or Crawford vs Vargas?

    Or Tito?

    Or ODLH?

Crawford is not the lazy, sitting duck that Duran was at that stage. Crawford is in the league of the greats in terms of conditioning and mental toughness. This fight would be Hearns picking at Crawford, hurting him, with Crawford stalking until eventually, Crawford will catch up to Hearns and put him to sleep.

Might even happen in the first half if Crawford catches him well with the bodyshots that he’ll undoubtedly be throwing.

Me either. Hearns is the favorite but Hearns could be hurt. I give Crawford a chance to stop him.
