I'm expecting BooBoo to stink up the joint(pun intended) and make the fight as ugly as possible, and I don't have a sure prediction for the outcome because neither of these guys has really fought anyone impressive to push their limits. So I'll just watch and be surprised.

I was going to write some words to defend booboo's skills, because I think that he is a bit underrated in this forum. But the truth is that he's 35, he's no lad anymore, chances are that he will be caught late and sparked.

Unfortunately I can't watch the fight live. I will watch it tomorrow, we will see.

Very real possibility we see an upset in the co-main event. Benavidez is a guy coming up two weight classes with a wound to his leg who will be fighting a guy who is yet another whole weight class bigger. But that guy hasn't stepped into the ring in two and a half years. Frankly, he also hasn't looked to be in the best shape either. Only wish his belt was on the line for this, so the poor thing would have a chance of being freed up to someone actually willing to defend it

As for the main event, I'm expecting Benavidez to win, though I won't be surprised in the slightest if Andrade pulls it off. He's not a master slickster or anything, but he is skilled. Skilled enough that he could probably have made some competitive fights with the top guys in his divisions, which is what makes his resume a real shame. At the same time though, Andrade is thirty five years old, fighting at a new weight for only the second time, and has been pretty inactive in the last couple of years, so any skills he may have had are likely to be affected by that combination of factors. Then again, there's a chance Benavidez is getting to that point where he should be fighting in a higher weight and not continuing to push himself to cut down, so it's always possible his next 168 fight will be one too many in the division.

All that being said, I don't really have a horse in the race. I'm just hoping for a damn good fight :D

Long day of boxing ahead. Gonna tune in for the Lerena-Gashi main event, switch over to the Cameron-Taylor undercard and then switch over in time to start with one of the prelims for this. Damn near ten hours of boxing on a Saturday, perfect! :ggg

Benavidez is ambitious and has serious goals in his boxing career.

Andrade, on the other hand, is already 35 years old and he doesn't have much expectations from the sport. He is there tonight just to get his paycheck.

I think Andrade will stay away from Benavidez all night and try to finish the fight with minimum sustained damage.

Benavidez wins by wide unanimous decision.

Just hoping that no dodgy decisions ruin a decent night of boxing.
