Not no chance, but there's a certain amount of logic in fancying Usyk when a much younger, fitter and less damaged Fury had fits with an inferior facsimile in Cunningham, surely?

Even before Ngannou I fancied Usyk slightly - now I'm fairly confident Usyk takes it, it all depends how Fury trains and whether he's able to deal with the set of challenges Usyk represents... It's by far the biggest challenge since Wlad, maybe even a bigger one in some regards.

Wilder got a couple of heavy KD's but was otherwise outclassed completely, Ngannou got a KD and looked a handful all the way along... Most unbiased viewers thought Wilder was fairly lucky to get the draw, many thought Ngannou was slightly unlucky to get a draw.

And of course, Wilder got a lot more credit before getting demolished in the rematches... If Fury rematches and embarrasses Ngannou, the narrative will change.

We will see but i still see the odds against usyk .

Way smaller and overall less powerful , little punching power , doubtful bodyshot resistance .

Beyond AJ no references in heavyweight division at all , just 5 total hw fights with only one noteworthy opponent .

Everything can happen but i see fury as the overall favourite and most boxing experts have the same opinion .

A heavy KD usually means a 10-8 round. This is also dominance and that's why it is rewarded that way in the scoring. Regardless of how you try and spin it, Wilder nearly beat Fury.

I have Fury favourite to beat Usyk too but let's not try and pretend Wilder didn't nearly beat him.

Maybe it's my eyes but I've always thought Usyk boxes Fury's ears off.
Fury is nimble *for a super-heavy weight*, nothing like as fleet footed or quick handed as Usyk. It's not close imo, these 'boxing experts' you speak of need their heads checking.
I think Fury must know he's in there with Cunningham x 10 and I honestly thought he'd avoid this at all costs.
Money and the Undisputed must be somewhat enticing but I still think it's bad risk-reward for Fury and his legacy.
There's zero chance Fury gets to stiff-arm or chase and bully or lean as he did to scrape by Cunningham and Wallin, so I just don't see Fury ever landing flush and wouldn't be surprised to see him lose a wide UD.
and I'm no Fury hater, I thought it was his to lose Vs Wlad but Usyk is probably the worst matchup for him since Vitali retired.

Nah... these 'boxing experts' who say fury will win are people like roy jones jr or mike tyson , not sure if they really need their heads shaking or learn something about boxing .

But at least for me : finally i do not care , may the best win since i,m not a fan of low blow usyk or belly fury .

Yeah that's why I added the word. Almost beating the lineal champ is still something. Name me one time in history when almost beating the current heavyweight lineal champ meant nothing or "deserved no clamour"?

Most people think he won the fight, hence why Eddie Hearns wanted a fight between Ngannou and Joshua.

    Parker also called him out.

But you're still bitter after what happened, hence why you're acting like a bot reading Wikipedia.

so much depends on what Fury has left at this point and what he is willing to do with it. Train hard and do your very best....or retire and ride off into the sunset.

The answer to that question is NO, simply because WIlder never shows he is not happy with the clinching. He was tired a** and that's why he was actually happy with the clinching, no matter what he was explaining after the match.

If the opponent is not happy with the clinching/hugging/holding, show it to the ref and everyone to see it, aka fight from it.
Then if the refs keep allowing it, then this is 100% cheating and blatant corruption.
But i didn't see Wilder trying to fight out of a single clinch and not a single time he was showing he ain't happy with it.

What is fighting out of a clinch or showing you are not happy with it, some may ask ? Lomachenko vs Rigo is a perfect example of it.

As far as the thread goes, no simply because he lost to Ngannou and there is no redemption to that. Boxing will be seen as weaker compare to MMA from that point on.
The excuses that people make are just silly. We are not talking about some amateurs on here, we are talking about PRO fighters.

In that scenario, Oleksandr Usyk remains Cruiserweight ATG, and IMO completely loses the opportunity to become Heavyweight ATG, because he won't have time to do so.
But Fury's legacy is changing, he is nicknamed "the killer of Ukrainians".
