Agreed. I think Mike Tyson has always been a bit overrated but at least he was exciting and actually fought his toughest challenges and met them head on without having all the decks stacked in his favor. But this PRIME TYSON WAS UNBEATABLE narrative gets pushed a lot. Mayweather never fought his biggest challenge in their prime and was one of the most carefully matched top ranked boxers in history. NEVER bought into the hype.

And he lost the first Castillo fight. Also had to take on an MMA guy with ZERO professional boxing experience to pickup his 50th win. Lol :lol::lol: Also the whole iv fiasco.

I've tried to ask the biggest Floyd fanboys about the home, and late reported AND illegal, IV job. They refuse to even acknowledge it, and simply respond with 'The NSAC allowed it. End of story.'

None of the so called 'experts' even understand the ramification that ruling carried. The NSAC HAD to allow it three weeks after the fact.

What would happen if they did the right thing, and said that illegal home IV was cause for changing the results to a NC?

Floyd was still the biggest star in boxing. Boxing if famous for shooting itself in the foot, and this would be a HUGE scandal and another black eye. But because Floyd brings in money to the City of Las Vegas, they had no choice but to appove it retroactively.

Had they not, how would that have affected those who gambled large sums of money? Think anyone would return their winnings? Would bookies pay out to those who now bet differently?

And think of the lawsuits to follow.

NSAC had a gun to their head with that ruling.

And flo mos refuse to even discuss this. They are too ignorant to the situation, or just too chicken sh!t.

You are absolutely correct my friend The NSAC brought their own actions into disrepute in doing so too
But remember The Flo Mos know Floyd was guilty as much as everyone else but they have no logical explanation except to admit it, like real men would do

    Heavyweight is different
Also if Ruiz was more disciplined he wouldn't weigh that

I know in real life terms, size is height etc, but in combat sports it's weight that matters

Mike Tyson is the same size as GGG if we Don't account for weight. Imagine how they would fare out in a ring?

You (nor necessarily you) can't play the size card on Floyd. That is one thing he wasn't, was a weight bully besides the marquez fight which he didn't bother with the weight. But other than that? He was not usually the bigger man

I don’t consider him the BEST EVER but as Pretty Boy Floyd he was definitely number 1 at the time in my view.

That's when he sold his soul to the devil & became the Vegas cash cow. Jeez the NSAC even tarnished their own reputation to protect him

My only issue is with those who insist Hatton was bigger than Floyd. Due to a few pounds, despite being shorter, and much less effective at 147 then at 140. None of them like the fact 147 was NOT an ideal division for Hatton.

Haha you had to go all the way back to a 2010 segment of Pacquiao laughing while concurring with what the interviewer asked him in that who he believed was the best including himself? which by the way is completely different from arrogantly claiming your the best ever every other chance you get due to insecurity, perhaps that's what you meant about how i heard it? but nice reach though.

While your hero shows up to everyone else's Pressers by planting Ldcb Youtubers in the crowd to pre generate a question just so that he can go on rambling about how he's you're so your so called TBE, not to mention him owning & employing Fighthype to continuously spread similar propaganda in daily videos.

Here's a more recent interview of Pacquiao being asked that question for your own reference & unlike many poser contemporaries out there embarrassingly mimicking Floyd you've never had to doubt how Pacquiao sounded.

It is likely that the people who claim Floyd is the best ever have never seen nor even heard of the likes of SRR, Henry Armstrong, Willie Pep or Roberto Duran.

That’s not to say Floyd isn’t a bonafide ATG, it’s just he doesn’t sit atop the pile in the company he keeps in the esteemed group of ATGs. And there is no shame in that.

He’s both overrated and underrated dependent on the audience and the truth lays somewhere in the middle.

147 wasn't ideal because hatton isn't as good as Floyd

Floyd could make 140 just as well as hatton, the fight wouldn't have been any different had they fought there

Floyd wasn't the bigger man and that's fact. Sure he has a little height and reach, but I go back to what I said earlier

Is Hearns or Paul Williams bigger men than Tyson or Frazier?

Floyd may be some things, but a weight/size bully isn't one

No, 147 wasn't ideal for Hatton because he was obviously better suited for 140. I cannot fathom how that is hard to understand, or even see watching him fight at both weights.

Again, no one is saying the results would be different at 140, Why you guys keep bringing that up is beyond me.

Obviously Hearn's isn't bigger than either. He's just taller. I clearly said there's more factors than just one. It's NOT only weight, and it's NOT only height. Can't believe I need to explain that....but if some of you need to simplify it to one thing to make a point...have at it.

Deep down… THEY all know the score. Floyd avoided Manny while he was at his peak and they know damn well Floyd took shortcuts. They can repeat the dumbass “The Best Ever” narrative all the want. HE’S NOT. Period.

He's one of the best ever, not the best.
