I’m not in your guys fight, but, according to the rules it’s a knock down if a punch make you touch the floor with your glove. The truth is that Zab did that to Floyd, even though it never counted.

It should be noted that after the “knock down” Floyd completely took over and won every round until the final bell.

I was at that fight :D

Yes, it happened. But Floyd was never seriously hurt, so how do we use this as evidence to presuppose that Mosley would knock Floyd out?

Floyd was probably hurt more by Corley than he was by Zab's check.

Even if Floyd was knocked straight on his ass, it would be no different than the other great fighters who tasted canvas.

Even slowed down, it isn't as dramatic as you seem to think it is. He took a clean counter shot from a big puncher, was momentarily buzzed, but recovered within seconds.

That's not an argument against his resolve.

The MAN , The FIGHTER!! That made your hero turn into a coward to the whole boxing community by simply asking "Why wont you fight me Floyd "? LOL remember Floyd saying " You called me a coward, OK I'm a coward, but I'm a rich coward". Is that why you idolize him because he robbed so many people throughout his career ????????

He's got a case for being TBE at 130lbs, but I can't see him being rated any higher than #16 or so on a personal ATG list. Couldn't see him being rated much lower than #25, it should be noted. There are a few guys ahead of him, but not that many.

Disagree. Greatness can encompass things like cultural influence and societal impact; but that doesn't always means that fighters who score well in those categories are automatically the best fighters in history, or even in their division.

To wit: Ring Magazine did a piece on the 20 Greatest Fighters of the 20th Century. Ali and Louis landed #1 and #2, over SRR and Armstrong. Jack Dempsey was top 6, IIRC, almost 10 spots over Robert Duran and Sugar Ray Leonard. And so it goes. I personally don't have Dempsey anywhere near my top 50, but I didn't have an issue with his inclusion given his place in history and how important he was as a figure and fighter.

So, you can easily make a distinction between "greatest" and "best".

So its not gingerly anymore? No. Maidana, a C level fighter, staggered Floyd. Floyd was fortunate the round had ended.
