Honourable mentions: Frank Sanchez, Arslanbek Makhmudov, Jared Anderson, Daniel Dubois

Andy Ruiz and Dillian Whyte are both shot to pieces and frankly should hang up the gloves because they would get demolished by any half-decent in-shape opponent.

Agree on the last point, Ruiz has looked rubbish for years and I don’t see him being a player moving forward. Sanchez has somewhat underwhelmed thus far after his good win over Ajagba. I would love to see him vs Makmudov or Hrgovic.

I don't think you can be the best in the world at something without actively doing it. Once a guy hasn't bothered in about 13, 14 months, I stop thinking about him as one of the best around. Wilder has a scheduled fight on the 23rd - we'll see how he looks then. Either he or Parker will (presumably) end up back on my list if that fight goes ahead.

I'd add that Wilder hasn't won a meaningful fight since 2019. That matters too.

Wilder has 2 wins in 4 years and is 2-2 in his last 4 fights i'm not sure why hes rated so highly TBH.

If he beats Parker impressively then that changes things however.

Actually I need to make corrections.

    Like this:

    1. Fury
    2. Usyk
    3. Wilder
    4. Joshua
    5. Zhang
    6. Hrgovic
    7. Wallin
    8. Joyce
    9. Parker
    10. Makhmudov

    1. Usyk
    2. AJ
    3. Fury
    4. Hrgovic
    5. Zhang
    6. Wilder
    7. Parker
    8. Ajagba
    9. Yoka
    10. Jalolov or maybe Mike Hunter

This is a sh**ty list mind you, very hard to make. HW is dogsh*t. Swap the last few with Bakole, Sanchez, Makhmoudov, Wallin or some other bum, they're interchangable as far as I'm concerned.

Doesn't matter who's list you use, the division is in shambles. Inactivity, ducking, over rated fighters and just weak heavyweights make this a serious down time in history.

    1. Usyk (operating at an elite level, almost completely unified)
    2. Fury (has slipped from #1, might have aged out)
    3. Joshua (IMO still top 3, no reason to say he isn't)
    4. Hrgovic (interchangeable with 5)
    5. Zhang (interchangeable with 4)
    6. Wilder (not active, might be finished )
    7. Sanchez (needs to prove more)
    8. Joyce (slipped and fell off a cliff)
    9. Parker (down but not completely out)
    10. Whyte (down and nearly completely out)

Hrgovic has a (close) win over Zhang, I'm not putting Zhang ahead of him. Joyce has a dominating win over Parker, I'm not putting Parker ahead.
