Do you think Haney Lomachenko was a close fight

Anyone who thinks this fight is a robbery doesn't know what a robbery is.

Casamayor/Santa Cruz was a robbery; this was close & controversial fight. I had it 7-5 Haney but had I been scoring it as a 12-round whole, I'd have chosen Loma as the winner without a second of hesitation. But that's not how it works.

 

This is a fair criticism. Too many old judges doing key fights.

 

If I don't call that fight a "robbery"...it's because I don't like to call a fight a "robbery" without viewing it a 2nd time to confirm the impression.

I don't enjoy Devin Haney's....style of fighting...so I am not going to do that.

But I did have it 9-3 in Loma's favor when I viewed the fight.

 

Casamayor-Santa Cruz was one of the worst Robberies I've ever seen. Haney-Loma was really close.

 

No it wasnt. Haney barely landed any clean punches to the head.

Has it 7-5 Loma first time I watched it, then I scored it a draw and the final time for Loma again. It was very close and competitive, could have gone either way. I think the result may have been different outside of America however.

 

It was competitive. I just can't see Haney on the cards though.

 

I thought it was a close fight but that being said close fights can still favor a certain fighter who I think is Loma.

 

Body shots count just as much, and Haney banked some early rounds by landing good ones. Or at least he arguably did. Not a whole lot was happening first half of fight.

 

I had it a draw. If my memory serves me right, if Loma won the 12th he would have gotten it. I also believe I gave Haney the 2nd, which was close as well.
