Why do people keep saying this? Floyd was older, had a style heavily reliant on his fast twitch reflexes, and barely had enough left to beat Marcos Maidana.

Pac was still competing at a high level and beat Thurman years after the fact.

Pac had more left. He couldn't beat Floyd because Money reintroduced him to the issues that he had with the great fighters at the lower weights...

Tim Bradley was a lesser Floyd and gave Manny his share of issues for the same reason.

    “Floyd retired unbeaten as well.”

    You said prior to that:

“No one remains unbeaten at any weight class so don't worry about it”

I’m just trying to understand your logic and rationale.

Several fighters DID beat him but corruption saved his butt as we all know. His so called 50- 0 is laughable it was an MMA fighter making his pro boxing debut. He was the biggest fraud ever in the sport

Had they fought earlier hen Floyd was at his peak he would have knocked Pacquiao out and put him in hospital. Take that to the bank.

Pacquiao is nothing like maidana. The reason JMM did so well against him is because he was a counterpuncher fighting against a come forward volume puncher. Floyd also enjoys the same advantages.

No disrespect, but Floyd schools Crawford at 140 and 147. I'm not sure Crawford beats Cotto at either weight

Ok..... Crawford is becoming overrated. Just because he beat an inactive, weight drained Spence does not mean he beats Floyd. Ennis would've beated that Spence just as easy

Pacquiao beat bradley all 3 times. He was past-prime but still good enough to beat a lot of non-ATG fighter. Its just a fact that offensive agressive fighters age worse than passive defensive fighters. They accumulate more damage throughout their career and get worn out quicker and use up more energy. theres a reason people say mike tysons prime ended at 25. Any person with eyes can see pacquiao declined more from 2009 to 2015 than floyd did

marquez is a different kind of counterpuncher than floyd. marquez throws more combos and fights on the inside more. Floyd fights more on the outside using his reach advantage and is generally more defensive. And he only did so well in the 4th fight. It took him 4 tries and he was roided as well. And youre right. Prime pacquiao fights way better than maidana

I think he was injured that fight and gave an immediate rematch. Thats something nobody gives him respect for, most people would not rematch Castillo or Maidana right away. As for no one beating him its mostly casuals who think the same of Pac or people going with the tbe gimmick

Tyson's prime ended at 23 not because he was a headcase, not because he was somehow worn out.

If Pac won all three Bradley fights, why are you saying that he declined more than Floyd?

In 2010, Floyd was nearly dropped by Shane. In 2012, he was bloodied by Cotto. In 2013, he came out of prison and looked clearly diminished against Ghost... nothing like 2009. In 2014, he had two less than spectacular showings against Maidana. He had one vintage performance against Canelo. ONE.

The truth is that he was steadily declining the entire time, becoming more and more of a stationary pocket fighter dependent almost exclusively on his lead and pull counter rights.

He was still the best because he was that damned great to begin with.
