After viewing Andrade's ceiling vs Benevidez, how do you think that fight would go, both at 160lbs, and the old 40 year old version of GGG at 168lbs? What do you think?

GGG always KO's slicks. He stalks them and lands big shots until they are stopped or quit.
People always pretend he was slow but he wasn't slow, he was an average size MW, actually on the short side for modern MW's, quite light, and quick enough to catch slicks and land his shots.
If he was so slow, why was it so easy for him to land on them all while they ran around trying to potshot?

Ouma showed him angles he didn't know existed. Slick boxers are GGG's kryptonite, it's just that his power has bailed him out on multiple occasions. He doesn't need to land a lot to stop them. Andrade probably doesn't bear GGG's pressure, but somebody like Lara would make him look real bad.

Golovkin would catch up to him and blast him out sooner or later. To beat GGG you have to have at least some power to get his attention and a bit of respect. Otherwise he just walked them down. Andrade isn't that guy.

What about the GGG that fought Canelo in the trilogy vs the 168lbs Andrade that fought Benevidez? I think Andrade did well vs Benevidez early, but fell apart after being tagged consistantly. That was a heck of an onslaught Andrade received from Benevidez to get him in the condition of being stopped. So, basically, i believe Andrade would try to use the same strategy against the 40 year old GGG as he did vs Benevidez, do you think he would be successful or would the old GGG catch up to him. I'm sure the prime version of GGG would catch Andrade and stop him at some point.

Andrade would've been in big trouble if he tried that with GGG who I believe hits harder than Benavidez. GGG has Andrade covered in all areas he is a better boxer and just physically much stronger than Boo Boo. If Andrade went in with that strategy against GGG it would've been all over in 2 or 3 rounds.

Ouma was NOT slick. He was a volume puncher. Lara had every chance to move to 160 to face 3G. All he did was a cheap call out w/ no intention of moving up.

GGG has one of the best jabs in the game, a extremely powerful ramrod one

Is one of the best at cutting off the ring in the game

Is one of the hardest punchers in the game

With one of the best chins in the game

    A great engine

    Elite level skills

    Can box and fight

Boo Boo is a very tricky and awkward skilled southpaw but there's no way he's standing up to 12 rounds of GGG's power and pressure

Liam Williams was able to take everything Boo Boo dished out and give him a really grueling fight with his pressure, power and toughness, including hurting him. GGG would do a lot more

I consider it one of my duties in life to hype up Andrade. We're from the same city (kinda), I used to work out at a gym where he used to work out, but there's no way he could compete with GGG.

Jermall Charlo on the other hand, there's a reason he wanted no part of the Providence pro, the Rhodes Scholar of boxing. Andrade would have eaten him up like a veal parm on Federal Hill and left him limp and leaking like a lapdance at Foxy Lady.

Yeah tricky southpaw movement is good, but as Canelo showed you still need a chin and power when dealing with GGG. That is the only thing he'll respect. If you don't have it he's gonna walk you down and demolish you. Andrade has neither of those things from what I can tell. He also often fades late, but he'll fade even sooner with the kind of body shots GGG throws at people. Combine that with GGG often getting stronger as the rounds go by and this would probable be a wrap by the mid rounds like with Benavidez.

Bad match up for Andrade IMO, either 160 or 168 against the old GGG.

Ouma was slick or at least showed slickness for that fight.

As stated by others, Andrade has skills, but he simply doesn't have enough chin or power for this one.
Andrade doesn't react well to pressure, and GGG certainly brings exactly that.

Re Lara, he would definitely have a better chance but Lara only got interested in this once GGG got old.
It's hard to see him managing to stop GGG getting to him and hurting him while doing enough to win 7 rounds. Hurd is way more basic than GGG but caused Lara issues, Castano is good but not GGG-level good or powerful and he drew Lara too.
