Didn’t Canelo warn him? But he didn’t listen and now he has to deal with coked out Oscar for the rest of his contract. The feud is so bad he even has to ban Oscar from his locker room before each fight. Is it because he has people giving him bad advice or because he’s just stupid?

He signed when he was a teenager.

Im sure De La Hoya, who is a HUGE legend in the Californian Mexican community, coming to him at that age and offering him a contract must be head turning.

And, to be fair, he hasnt exactly done a terrible job for him

He will learn the others on the end side don't care about him either like he perceives & did he really ban Oscar?

Being Oscars golden child is probably more secure than Haymon or Hearns after thought

Becauae they could market him well.

Imagine he signed with Top Rank - it's run by old dinosaurs like Arum who are out of touch with social media, the internet and so on (look how shitty they marketed Beterbiev and Crawford).

You gotta take the good with the bad.

He signed with him for exactly this reason: We are talking about him and his beef with Oscar arent we?

Lets be honest he hasnt done ANYTHING in the ring worth talking about has he? I can think of 25+ active fighters i would rather talk about if we were to focus on in ring skills and performances.

Instead we are talking about Garcia and my Youtube and Instagram feeds are full of videos about him.

So clearly Golden Boy has in fact done a great job.

Well I mean you're literally discussing him in a thread despite the fact he's only ever beaten one opponent with a world ranking and that was years ago.

I'd say the only thing of note he's achieved in his career is being promoted.

I didn't really take notice or even truly believe of Garcias social media popularity until he started fighting guys like Luke & Tank & saw that they really have fallen for him,

Man those fan girls really do move the needle which kind of makes sense looking back at those lame pop stars, boy bands & emotional female singers & their legion of die hards hahaha

Signing with Golden Boy was stupid ?

If you had a chance to be promoted by one of the biggest promoter in the world (they've fallen since, but hey...) you would say no right? Now he makes millions, so stupid of him.

Each promoter has some good and bad. Could you imagine Garcia with Hearn ?
