Crawford at 135 was rocked by Gamboa repeatedly and had to make adjustments and a swap to southpaw in order to solve the puzzle.

By the time Crawford starts to do this against De La Hoya he'd be unconscious from multiple left hooks.

    Oscar TKO6.

The Crawford that fought Gamboa is a totally different fighter than the one today. I mean like day and night different. Not saying that he would beat Oscar because prime Oscar was no joke but using an old version of Crawford to make a point is ludicrous.

I think youngish Oscar @ 135-147 is just better and equally mean and nasty. Here's the thing though: they'd fight. Wouldn't take 10 years for it to happen either. And Sugar Shane and Vernon would have been in that mix. We'd have got an epic trilogy from this match.

Neither man was best at 135. Crawford because of how much he rehydrated to by fight night.

    The title says at 135.

Crawford at lightweight is not Crawford today. Re-read the title.

Would pick Oscar at 135 in a tougher than expected fight. Though less disciplined then he was at 147, he still had speed and power.

Crawford was a drained fighter at 135. He will get stopped by Oscar at 135. Crawford doesn't belong at 135.

I think Crawford would have been slightly better than Oba Carr if he fought in that Era. He would be competitive but come up short against the likes of ODLH, Trinidad and Mosley in my opinion.

My bad, you did write 135. I think that Oscar was sharper than Crawford at 135 and I would give him the edge in a matchup. The 147 lb Crawford is a different story. I would give him the edge in that matchup. Both fights would be very intertaining.
