I think Parker is going to expose/dismantle everything Wilder is, a pure business protected hypejob.

Brewster wasn't coming off a KO over Wlad or a title defence when Helenius beat him, he was coming off a loss to Gbenga Oloukun. Brewster accomplished a lot more than Takam once upon a time but I don't believe that ANY version of Brewster was better than the best version of Takam. Ortiz and Povetkin weren't heavyweight champions but they were better fighters than all mentioned.

It's not necessary to delve into who Helenius beat back in 2010/2011 to deconstruct these arguments. I think it's simple why Wilder is a 2/9 or 1/5 favourite over Parker:

Wilder has a draw with Fury and KO'd 30-0 Ortiz, Parker has majority decisions over Ruiz and Hughie and a split decision over Chisora

Wilder has only lost to Fury, Parker has lost to Joshua, Whyte and Joyce

Parker hasn't stopped any of his 11 best opponents, whereas Wilder has the highest KO ratio among heavyweight champions

How is knocking out 23/33 of your opponents not power? 67% KO ratio is pretty decent for someone who "can't knock people out".

He`s never knocked anyone out in a world title fight, he can only stop lower level fighters.

Holy stopped Tyson and had a far better KO ratio at cruiser and developed more power after losing to Bowe because he filled out and put on more muscle at the higher weight.

Wilder is a great for my head. Permanent renewable energy w those damn windmills.

In seriousness though I spend very little time entertaining the HWs unless its about Fury Usyk for...ya know...undisputed status.

I dont spend much time worrying about Wallin, AJ, Wilder, Parker, or any of the 2nd/3rd tier HWs XD XD XD

No disrespect to Jack Massey but he pushed Joseph Parker very close and he wouldn't belong in a ring with Wilder in my opinion.

That wasn't your original assertion, and it means little. Boxing isn't only about knocking out people on world title fights.

Ortiz battered Ruiz in the 12th round. I had it 113-112 to Ruiz but if it was a younger and fresher Ortiz who knows.

Who boxed til he was 50 and started having world title fights about 15 fights into his career and stayed at that level for the rest of his career.
