Who's to say he doesn't get chinned or battered?

 

True. We are talking about the French AJ here after all. Except if the worst attributes of AJ are dialled up to 11 and the best ones are nowhere to be found, making him also the Dollar Store AJ. Which altogether makes him "Magasin à un dollar Antonie Josue"

 

Is he that bad? lol. I'm not really familiar with him, been away from the sport during his... erm.... "rise".

 

Yeah he's pretty lame. Got decent pop and seemed to be propped up as the French AJ til Bakole schooled and dropped his ass last year. Then he got outpointed by a washed Carlos Takam. The fights were scored SD and MD respectively, but those cards were completely bogus, nothing at all close about either.

 

I keep hearing he's got a "bad" chin but I kind of feel like Bakole or Takam would of managed to stop him if that was the case. Hard to hide a bad chin at heavy you know.

 

How long before this one kicks off?

I don't think his chin is that bad personally. Much like AJ, he's given a bit harder of a time about that than he deserves. Bakole was able to floor him, twice I think, but didn't finish the job, and that dude can crack.

He has decent power and okay whiskers, but he lacks pretty heavily in the other aspects. That said, tonight's pretty winnable for him. I already said I could see him "winning," but a fair win or even a KO isn't necessarily out of the question, assuming he shows up with more fire than his last outing. Dude just seemed downright out of it for that fight.
