Yeah it is actually pathetic when you break it down especially celebrating victories that were obvious robberies. Floyd Mayweather was one of the main factors causing all this A side negotiation bending the rules of boxing BS and it has made a lot of the new generation of US fighters follow suit protecting their 0 and playing weight games with rehydration clauses etc.

Totally agree mate. I understand no fighter wants to lose and they may try to win by hook or crook and be happy with the result as it effects them personally but I don't understand how somebody who claims to be a fan of boxing can support corruption and down right cheating.

 

Yeah I was more so referring to hook or by crook in the ring not even counting the deck stacking dirty tricks. If a fighter is truly confident in their abilities like Usyk and GGG they don't need any of the deck stacking BS. On a rare occasion that a US fighter actually does travel they make excuses and complain before the fight like in the case of Fulton and Inoue where they made some unfounded allegation about stacked hand wraps or they want extra credit for travelling like Haney against Kambosos despite Haney being more than a 4 to 1 favorite. There is no way Haney would've gone to the Ukraine to fight Loma. Andre Ward never left the US once through the whole super 6

If you gon call it then call it like it is, Jeff Lacy came across the pond and got that beat down by Calzaghe. By the same token, Ali, Hagler, Spence, Crawford, Tyson and others had no problem with crossing that pond. Fulton didn't have a problem with going to Japan. As far as stacked wraps go, that same complaint is made by fighters against fighters here in the states. The bottom line is that they follow the money. Haney had a right to cautious going down under. Pac had just robbed down there. Just because Haney was the favorite don't mean he couldn't have gotten robbed.
