Not sure I agree Fury more popular. True a few years ago but I think that popularity is waning.

Not with us die hards no, but hugejy popular with casual fans. I’m not a fan of his, but it’s true. The latest book, the documentary etc. He’s big business.

Even Big Shytehouse John Fury is huge nowadays with having books published along with Paris Fury and selling out 'An Evening With John Fury' events.

It’s mad isn’t it. I’m really not a fan, but did find the Wilder fights entertaining.

Crazy that people would pay three figures for a VIP Ticket to meet and have a photograph with John Fury.

I have an old Sky+ HD Box which works excellently and is very stable.

Searched for boxing, found the event, entered my 4 digit code to confirm the PPV order.

Go to your Sky account and see if the event is visible and will be deducted from your next Sky bill !

Who on earth would want that? Just shows the pulling power of not even z list celebrity worthiness status and being on reality tv shows.

It would be fantastic if Adam Smith became the commentator for this great event. It would make the experience far better for the viewers :)

Agree, that would be decent although the broadcasters will presumably want their own hosts at least. Single broadcaster means any pettiness like AJ not speaking to Dev Sahni doesn't need to happen either.

Just let's get rid of Costello and hire Adam Smith. That's my New Year's wish as a DAZN UK customer !

The promo for this including a zombie Frank Warren is absolutely bonkers.

It's a shame as I really like Costello as a boxing broadcaster, the Five Live podcast is borderline unlistenable with Bunce hosting at times where it was a weekly treat before. I remember in the 2020 lockdown, going for a socially-distant walk every Monday night once the podcast dropped.

His commentary just doesn't really suit the TV, he has never got used to the handovers with summarisers, and the atmosphere on radio is just so different his voice works better there. Hope the BBC has a place for him again if DAZN doesn't.

The modern world sadly. I'm utterly convinced that many of these people don't actually want to do these things but are convinced by social media that they should want to.

Would that break the current PPV record?
