Good they will not take a long time off before the fight. March 9th is just three months away. This content is protected
The odds of both of them winning probably are around 50% combined. Here's hoping it happens but by no means is it a certainty.
Promising news, but in 3 months seems optimistic Let's assume that Joshua beats Wallins, and Wilder beats Parker. Given Wallins approach to fights I don't see him doing much damage even if it goes 12. I would be a bit worried how much damage Wilder would take if his fight against Parker goes 12.
Treating this as nothing more than a mirage in the desert as this stage. The skeptic in me sees this as convenient propaganda to help assist sales of the Dec 23rd card.
Massive if it happens, I just want to see the arguments put to rest. If they get through their next fights and the March 7th date happens, I see Wilder winning by spectacular KO.
I'm not sure it really puts the arguments to rest regardless of what happens - it's way past the time when it should've happened. I'm not convinced it happens even if they both win on the 23rd anyway - call me cynical if you like, but it's been dodged far too long for me to trust that it'll happen now.
One concern I have about promoting AJ-Wilder three months out. Do Wallin or Parker have to T/KO or wide decision their respective opponents to get a W? Hardly an unusual state of affairs in this sport. At this point I'm also skeptical if it ever happens.
Mark my words, The Dosser is going to throw the J-Park fight to wriggle out his day of reckoning with AJ. Don't forget I told you that Belly would do the same against Ngannou to wriggle out of facing Usyk and he did everything in his power to do so but the judges didn't get the memo I don't even have to gaze into my crystal ball when I'm prophesying. How many times have I told you something was going to happen and it has come to pass? I got the gift
