Ok. But can I ask You smth? U belive all boxer or You just belive everything what Deontay Wilder said? I ask because Fury feel power of Wilder and he said Klitschko punch harder. I prefer rely on my own observation because boxers often talking nonsense and not always they are honest and sometimes even if they think they are their words is just silly. But You probably belive Artur Szpilka that Mike Mollo punch harder than Wilder dont You?
I think their own opinion cant be treat 100% as fact because: 1. They often don't speak honestly. Why? there are plenty of reasons. Starting from jealousy, to the desire to reinforce the value of one's achievements, ending with sarcasm towards rivals. Wilder is perfect example here. He talk about Fury pillow fist so often that it will be bad for him saying that his punch give him worst time. Even more. To this day he force stupid excuse that Fury knock him out because he had metal egg in gloves... He cant say now he got good punching power because what with the egg then? 2. Its easier to remeber when someone even try punch You with full force than brutal KO from that person when u woke up. Perfect example here is Szpilka Mollo come agresive to this fight and probably he give full force in whole attack. Artur must felt this even in gloves. Wilder got big problem with AIM and catch him and dont be sure what he do soo when he actually catch Artur with full force Szpilka dont even feel it. 3. There is difference in full force one punch K.O and medium force u have in Your all Arsenal. That's why I think Fury said Klitschko punch harder than Wilder. Because his left, jab heart You much more. But this one brutal maximum we know Wilder even better. And few more but I dont have time right now
I don't believe every word that comes out of a boxers mouth. But, if I have to believe a guy who actually got hit by the guy he says hits harder than anyone he has faced, or you, I'll go with the word of the boxer. That being said, perhaps Duhapaus connected cleaner than other Wilder opponents, therefore making his shot have more impact.
I bet Fury was the hardest puncher he ever fought. After all, previously he had fought only MMA/UFC feather fists. They have massive kick power but not punch power.
Fury can hit (naturally as he’s a 270 pound heavyweight) but he’s never been a natural puncher. Truth is if he can drop Wilder several times, any big puncher can too (who also has decent fundamentals and ring IQ). Wilder will never give Fury any credit though he’s still bitter over their trilogy.
