I scored Lopez a draw, but 7-5 in favour of Lopez is fine.

The fight was pretty much how I remembered it live. Loma finished the fight very strongly, but a lot of the early rounds were close and could easily have gone the other way.

At the time I remember thinking Salido could have edged the majority of rounds going into the 10th and I still feel that now.

However my score is a draw, but my poll doesn't allow me to have draws so I have to pick a winner.

Considering at any point from the 8th onwards Salido should have had a point deducted for low blows, I'm gonna say I think Loma should have received the decision.

So 114-114, but Loma gets the vote in my poll.

From memory despite the low blows i also think Salido should've had a point deducted in the last round for excessive holding, if i remember rightly Loma hurt Salido in the last round and the biased referee allowed Salido to hold on like a octopus.

I think the only real legit loss on Loma's record without controversy is the Lopez fight.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to rewrite history here.

Loma did lose all 3 fights, and I don't think they were robberies as I think reasonable scorecards can go against Loma all 3 times.

But I do think the fairest result in the Salido fight is Loma winning. 6-6 in rounds but Salido has deductions making the difference.

It doesn't change anything really, the fights were what the fights were, I just wouldn't have given Salido the win.

How I had my scores tbh. A draw with Teo was the fairest considering Teo didn't land that much tbh. Beat Haney and beat Salido IMO!!
