Lol, now "hurting people but not knocking them out" is "having elite power". :risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3:

It's amazing how stupid can nuthuggers be.

Its not fair because neither has Wilder or GGG, its a dumb metric.

Depends who you hurt. Mosley ran for his life for 12 rounds because apparently Manny does not have alot of power.

You've never seen Inoue get tired though and it's not like he has low output, he also throws everything with power so he'll naturally use more energy per punch than your typical volume puncher.

Ok how about Nonito Donaire then? He had all three traits in spades.

Your thread talked about elite speed/elite stamina/elite power. Inoue has all of those.

And what does workrate matter? Inoue stops all of his opponents

Shane Mosley ? lightning speed, big puncher, and definitely good workrate at his best.

Came to me as well, but can his workrate be called elite?

I guess it depends on what your criteria is for elite ? no Mosley isn't a whirling dervish throwing 80 or 90 punches a round. But he's shown good workrate overall and come on strong late in fights.

He finished strong in both ODLH fights, he stopped Mayorga in the last round, he stopped Rivera in the last round, he came on strong late vs Vargas in their 1st fight, his workrate vs Margarito was consistently good in regards to throwing hard punches consistently for 9 rounds.

I think pretty much anytime Mosley lost when he was near his best he just got shut down by fighters like Forrest, Wright, who were bad style match ups for him and he didn't really know how to adjust.

But his workrate and his strong finishes late in fights have always been good to me.

Roberto Duran is the closest that I can think of.

His stamina was never great and this became more glaring as he moved up in weight. He was way too frenetic.

Not great ? did you not see my examples in the other post ? he had numerous examples of coming on strong late in fights and even stopped a few fighters in the last round of fights.

His stamina was never a problem it was the fact he couldn't adjust when he got shut down by a certain style.

Well if you're a midget below featherweight then you automatically already have speed and stamina since these guys throw over 1000 punches a fight, you're automatically in the category if you have power. Guys like Sung Kil Moon and Nonito Donaire had these qualities.

But as far as above featherweight? Aaron Pryor is the closest maxing out all 3 qualities. The man hit like a horse(90% KO percentage), was extremely quick and had stamina for days(whether cheating or not)

Elite speed and workrate means elite for the weight class.
