Really good scrap. Made no excuses afterwards - when asked, he answered that he was seeing double from round 2 onwards which meant he couldn't box as he usually would.

Many would have quit there and then, or retreated and settled for a points defeat. Instead he tried to match his opponent blow for blow. Big respect.

Hope the injuries aren't too serious and he gets back in the ring as soon as possible. I'm sure he gained more than a few fans last night.

Sunny's stock went up for me last night - he chased that fight relentlessly and very loudly backed himself to pull it off, then didn't wilt when it got tough.

Thats unfair mate he beat the long reigning champion Moruti Mthalane on pretty much a shutout who was top level and ranked number 1 in the division to win the IBF belt.
