Hatton not an all time great but neither are loads of people in the HOF. He was a very good boxer of his era though and also had a big impact on bringing big events, fans etc to the sport. I might be wrong but don't really remember a weigh in before like the one with mayweather with thousands there, now you get loads like that. He had a huge impact

Even before the Mayweather fight was not in sight
And wicky said that fight was going to be delivered
But hatton felt cheated going to Floyd's back yard which begged for
Suppose you didnt want groves froch 1 which led to two
    I get you
Must be a foreign Boxing fan

That’s because you are normal mate. The entire of the UK felt that same way and were excited about it. All apart from one bitter waste of skin by the looks of some posts above.

No mate British, it's not that I didn't want them to fight just not overly arsed to the point I'm angry about it 20 yrs later nearly, and would've much preferred to see him in with mayweather if I had the choice, weren't a huge fan of witter tbh.
And no wanted to see froch v groves don't know how you've came to that conclusion

British domestic fights for the real fans
    Dont tell us
    Show us
    He never did
    Froch on the other hand
    Played the
    Hes beneath me
We all called him out on it
And he delivered not once but twice
Then left us with our answer
It's really easy from a true Boxing fans perspective
    But the belt
    No the fans
I mean the money man and travel
When great fights can be made right here
    Proven

Why do you think khan took the brook fight
He could have fought anyone over sands and made more billy esq
He didn't want to be remember like Hatton on that regard
He swerved took on the best he could for coin pushing for the biggest fights
He knew what the real fans
His British fans would of held him to had he not
Hatton just ain't got Khan's stones
    And that ain't saying much
Remember Khan being a waste man with the booty in the bag

What makes you think a pro fighter owes the fans anything...Bizarre take.
For legacy, for clarity yeah would have been a good fight but Hatton had a very good career with some excellent wins. Witter was in terms of career achievements a bit behind.

Hatton V Witter a close fight

Yeah Connors right **** the fans and what they want
It's about what the fighters want
    And that's money
Never want to hear first the fans you lot
    Legacy
Belts from any of yous ever again
Froch should of walked a way from Georgie boy and prolonged his career and left the fans not getting what they called for

If it wasn't for COVID I think brook v khan would happened in 2020 , those 2 years would have made them 33 and not 35. Khan may well have done better at that age

    Lol
Khan was never beating brook hence he talked it and sweverd it untill the risk reward was nullified
Then it's more cash a humiliating beat down
But then can say I'm passed it but
I still give the fans what they wanted even if pedded up
Walks away with no real embarrassment
    And big coin
Clever but if the fans weren't so gullible it wouldn't have really worked
Guess what most fans are lol

I thought khan was washed up in 2022. Really thought khan would beat brook before,,like say 2015 or something. But fair play, some people thought it would be brook all the way.

    What was Brooks best attribute
    What was Khan's best attribute
    Who had the better footwork
    Who had the higher IQ
Who had the better punch variation
    Who had the better defence
    Who could adapt better
Its was evident for must really
Just gullible ****s and liars creaming olympic wave
Khan never beat brook in sparring that come to be yet another blatant lie
Like I took wards best shots lmfao you believe that to lol
