Both sides have now entered serious discussions for Q1 2024.

García had previously been openly targeting Rolando Florencio Romano Moreno for a fight in March, but Haney is putting himself in the conversation asking for the smoke.

Power and speed edge to García. Technique (particularly defensive) and chin edge to Haney.

Years back it might have been competitive. Now Haney is way ahead of Garcia.

While neither seems to be too popular in this forum, I am a fan of both these guys and I would love to see this matchup.

Tank Davis' power made Garcia disappear like a male organ in ice cold water and Lomachenko was giving Haney fits in the last half of their bout. That being said, Haney doesn't have the power and Garcia doesn't have the technique to cause these same kinds of problems. Haney has beaten good fighter after good fighter and Garcia lost convincingly in his first big test. He'll be made to work for it but I have to go with The Dream over King Ry by comfortable decision.

    Devon “the dream” Hanie Melts
King Ry “Quesadilla” García in a mental pressure cooker of a fight.

    (Devon by comfortable decision)

I think Garcia gives up on his stool around R 9/10.

Garcia was gassing after 3-4 rounds in his last fight against a journeyman. Haney will make him move a lot more and I think he will drown.

Ryan maybe has a puncher's chance for the first couple rounds, but it will be all Haney after that.

Haney dominates him, doubt Garcia wins 2 rounds if it goes the distance

Would love to see Garcia smoke him but it won’t happen as he hasn’t the boxing skills

Devin may make him quit on the stool or even stop him by an accumulation of punches. If not, Devin by shut out UD again. Devin's just too good for Ryan, he been improving since the amateurs by challenging himself while Ryan stays clowning on Instagram

Ngl, I thought the title said Ryan García Quesadilla upon first glance. That said, Haney wins. Garcia has slipped from the guy he used to be. On top of that Haney will come into the ring as a SMW so fat chance Garcia will be able to hurt him.

Man it's funny in the amateur s they both split 3 victory s each over one another yes 3 and 3.

BUT it looks like Devin is miles better in the pros.

Does Ryan suck ? Perhaps, but I'm not here to speculate, only the fight will show us this if it comes to fruition. Styles make fights.
