Fury/Ngannou was more about Fury than Ngannou. Riddick Bowe was like a supernova (he burned fast and quick), but Bowe up through Evander I would stop Ngannou. Like really badly. I'll take it a step further, no HW that has significant power would struggle with him the way Fury did.
I'm not confident enough in Bowe at all to say he'll win KO 1. I'm not sure he would win at all. I would have to watch another Ngannou fight. It is also a question of which Bowe; Holyfield 1 Bowe, or Golota Bowe. Bowe didn't fight a big puncher. I do not know.
Holyfield could crack (especially cumulative) and Bowe did excellently against him. I simply cannot see an argument for Ngannou to beat a prime Bowe based on a single performance against a dreadful looking Fury. I think Bowe would take him apart.
Bowe was talented but also lazy, undisiplined and never mentally stable. Also, ducking Lennox was a lame move. But he probably could beat this guy in his prime but now he is old with dementia and should never fight again.
Such a f'n troll.. You don't even try to hide it. How many message boards do you just troll? can't be just this one, since anyone can see you aren't a boxing fan.
He was the worlds biggest wilder fan until fury beat him, now he’s the worlds biggest fury fan with wilder a close second. Neet/Short round/Redbeard would crawl naked across miles of broken glass to get a suck on the Fury phallus given the chance….that is if he ever left his parents basement of course.
Keep seeing this, but no, you can't take Ngannou out of the equation. He's 6'4", 272 lbs of almost all muscle, hits like a sledgehammer, and didn't gas out after 10 rounds in his first pro boxing fight. It's debatable if Fury was at his best, but he tried his typical bully/lean and smother moves he's done successfully to other boxers in the past, but it didn't work on Ngannou for the reasons I mentioned above. As for OP, I want to see Ngannou fight at least one more legit HW before I can adequately gauge how he'd do against past HW greats.
Francis fought better on his boxing debut than seasoned veteran boxers. He showed composure, an iron chin, big balls, power, good boxing IQ, footwork everything. The only thing he doesn't have is experience and if he did have experience he would have beat Fury....but if Fury had knowledge of Francis which nobody did he would have knew how to fight him. He also showed that he is a totally dominant standalone force when it comes to clinch game which is a huge part of boxing. This was the area where Fury dominated then Francis went and utterly dominated the dominator in that department in scary fashion.
Oh did he? I thought he fought an out of shape Fury who didn’t train properly and didn’t take him seriously….at least that’s the excuse that came for Fury looking like dogsh!t…
Only fools made that excuse although he clearly wasn't 100% and used the Francis camp for weight loss. His Usyk camp is now S&C without the need for weight loss.
