He has travelled before And the people putting this on have more money than any Americans so if they want to buy a result it's happening
Wow!!! A veritable who's who of top flight HW's of the last 20 years and all fought whilst in their prime and in absolute tip top condition! I would quite literally be far too embarrassed to edit and post such a shower. Wilder has literally been encased in bubble wrap with exception of Ortizn't and the ultimate fail Cherry Pick in Fury 1, after which the bag was to great to turn down. He got props for the 3rd Fury fight but, after all the BS excuses he made regarding his 1st crushing defeat to Fury, I expected him to go someway to redeeming himself.
And you know they want wilder to win So he can call a bigger purse next time he wants to holiday in saudi Parker is being written off You seen the fix in cricket But you said it's so Ok
A robbery on the cards is definitely plausible. If Dubois beats Miller (as I'm very confident he will) - then if Parker beats Wilder on the cards - Hearn is left with two not-very-lucrative options for AJ's next fight. AJ v. Parker or AJ v. DuBois aren't as lucrative as AJ v. Wilder or AJ v. Miller.
We can all agree Wilder isn't the most tidy or technical boxer and Fury absolutely beat him up in the second fight. But let's not act like he doesn't KO most of the division if he catches them clean. Rewatching the 3rd Fury fight it's even more surprising to me that Fury survived being knocked-down than it was during his first fight. Yes Fury went on to smash him around the ring but on another day that ends differently. Parker's normal boxing style is not favourable to him winning this fight. If he comes out and puts Wilder on the back-foot and pressures him early he has a chance. But if he's setting up for a 12 round points bore fest he's going to get KOd I also completely agree that just because the fight is in a different country doesn't mean fixes can't be made. I actually don't think one will be needed here, but there is absolutely no hype to promote Parker as champion, all roads point to Wilder winning being beneficial for nearly everyone.
Good post. Parker needs to get Wilder on his backfoot to win IMO. I think Parker could outwork Wilder from the outside, but he opens himself up to getting KTFO. But I actually think if it goes 12 rounds, Parker wins a decision because Wilder isn't very active. The thing with Wilder is he is only looking to knockout his opponents, and specifically with a straight right hand. He isn't throwing a ton of punches in any fight. I disagree with people who bring up Joyce as why Parker will lose to Wilder. Joyce is a pressure fighter with an iron chin. Joyce isn't looking to land one shot; he's looking to wear you down. That is exactly what happened with Parker. But I really doubt Wilder could stand up to some of the shots Parker was landing on Joyce. If you are getting dropped/stopped by feather-fisted Fury, dropped by Sconiers, hurt badly against Molina and Ortiz, I don't think you are taking flush shots from Parker without being hurt either. If Wilder knocks out Parker, it'll be of the one-shot variety. And while I think Wilder is definitely more athletic and faster than Joyce, Wilder isn't hard to find in the ring either. Both guys have porous defense, difference being Joyce's chin being much better. I'm going to throw a small bet down on Parker by KO and that'll be my prediction.
That being said, I might put coin on Parker simply because the odds are great. Upset is not out of the question, though I'm not holding my breath.
