TBH, from what I've seen he's never taken that approach for a whole match, even though he certainly has the skills to do so. His team surely would have come to the conclusion that a KO over Miller just isn't happening, it's too much mass coming towards him and trying to go for the KO will only tire Dubois and leave him vulnerable for getting KO'd himself.
Nice try. This ain't the rule. And 90% of the shot was below the belt line, so even by your "own rule" was still a lowblow. As far as the rule goes, it's below the navel. And where Usyk navel was, we already debunked that million time with both pics and videos. Clear lowblow, and it wasn't the only one, it was like 15+ low blows from Dubois that night, which we already proved it again.
Yep. DD didn't just try lowblow him once, he did it several times. I believe he said that he would do this before the fight and why is anybody surprised that he went ahead and did it in the fight?
Cannot say how often this was discussed here already but its actually the line between both hip bones, not the navel . The navel is just ~ a similar height . https://www.dazn.com/en-US/news/box...plains-low-blow-rule/r5p0k74id5rbzbrw771xnxe1 We will see today if miller will also fold up from such shots .
I don't see that happening, more likely he quits. This is one of the more competitive match ups on the card. Dubois has youth and power, Miller has 333lbs of blubber and work rate on his side. Miller is also actually the more skilled boxer of the too, which just goes to show how basic Dubois is, if he was in a boxing video game you'd only need two buttons to play his character, he's that rudimentary. Both can really only fight one way which is going forward. Can Miller take the power of Dubois? Can Dubois handle the volume and pressure from a 333lbs man? I think we'll find out pretty early and whoever is able to back up the other wins. Hard to pick a winner, Dubois is trash but so is Miller. Miller a few years ago when he was on all the PEDS and around 30lbs lighter probably beats Dubois but the one I saw vs Browne looked truly awful, like Trevor Bryan awful. So I'm leaning towards Dubois but would not be shocked should Dubois come undone again.
I would suggest that Dubious is quite clearly roided out of his skin. Miller just got busted because he isn't protected as well and in the AJ fight Matchroom would have applied extra scrutiny to protect their own roider.
It isn’t - there’s a difference between ‘styles make fights’ and nearly losing to a guy with 0 professional fights when you are the heavyweight champion. You can sugar coat it all you want, it was an embarrassment, this is not up for debate either. You have just posted a wish washy and meaningless response. According to the rules of boxing, Dubois’s shot was low. The initial contact was below the belt line as seen in the replay. You made a factually baseless statement and accused a professional boxer of cowardice. You arguments are not even meaningless, they are outright lies and are either from a point of ignorance or from having an agenda.
Again, the initial contact of the shot, which is what matters, was clearly below the belt line if you watch the replays. This means the shot was low. This is the same rubbish as when Fury clearly stopped Wilder in the third fight but people tried to claim ‘there was a long count’. Most of these claims are made by fanboys who want to discredit other fighters or can’t accept their favourite fighter got beaten.
Either tbh, Fury has somehow managed to escape all punishment and create and army if blind fanboys who refuse to acknowledge the failed test.
I'm not rooting for either of them but I'd like Miller to lose because he's unsportsmanlike, dirty, arrogant and likes to insult, it would be a nice pre-Christmas moment to see Miller stretched out in the ring with his fat legs...
I watched some of miller's fight with Browne and he looked a lot slower. If Dubois jabs and moves can he avoid the shots? He did go like ten rounds with Joyce
Lets not forget that Miller is a poor fighter, I think on paper at least that Dubois is better than him. However, I feel like he’s the sort of person who would fold under the pressure and let Miller’s trash talking get the better of him, resulting in Dubois losing to someone that perhaps he shouldn’t be losing to. Miller isn’t on the level of Joyce or Usyk, that’s for sure.
