This is what happens when they actually start to fight each other within the division

The Wilder who turned up tonight was down to him fighting a capable Heavyweight.......

Not a grandfather Ortiz who has a suspect chin or a grossly overweight Fury who weighed the same as he did vs Ngannou.

    Doesn't look good for fury.

Since the klitschko win he's beaten seferi, pianetta, del boy.

Went life and death with wallin and knocked down multiple times against that useless dosser. Then pretty much got beat by ngannou.

Are any if these heavyweights legit because AJ, Joyce, and now fury, wilder and makhmudov been exposed.

Usyk just stands head and shoulders above for me

if you can’t see that Wilder looked like a **** head stumbling round the ring with a pair of legs more wooden than Ron Jeremy then I think you need your eyes testing

Well the mystique of Wilder is destroyed. A complete fraud he was. And Fury has also taken a massive hit with the Ngannou fight and now his rival looking like a confirmed scrub. The sport badly needs Usyk to win against Fury.

He landed on Parker numerous times and had no effect on him.....that's because Parker bullied him and Wilder can't fight on backfoot remember 2nd fight with Fury ?

I’m not saying he can fight on the back foot, I agree with you on that but tonight he turned up as an over the hill fighter… he’s just not got it anymore. His legs aren’t under him, his timing isn’t there and he’s tentative to throw. I don’t want to take credit from Parker I’m chuffed for him but Wilder needs to hang the gloves up because he’s damaged goods now.

Or maybe you need your eyes testing Wilder looked no different than when he got beat up by Fury in 2nd fight.

Wilder cannot fight on backfoot period I don't why your finding that so hard to fathom Wilder was never that good.....

He didn't land much of anything if anything flush on Parker but for me that was down to Parker. He boxed superbly tonight and was way too good.

It was pretty much the same old Wilder as he barely threw a punch in the first few rounds, couldn't establish any sort of jab despite his dimensions and telegraphed his right hand.

The brilliance of Parker tonight was in his game plan and execution. He kept Wilder even quieter than usual after he established that solid overhand right was going to be launched whenever a good opportunity presented itself. which diminished Wilders chances of landing the bomb. He smothered him at various times after launching attacks as well, maintained concentration and discipline the entire fight and didn't shell up late in the fight which would have given Wilder more opportunities. Parker fought an absolutely perfect fight.

The thing is Wilder has never been that good at setting his booming right hand up. He's got a most ordinary jab. What's saved him is that he doesn't need many of them and can wait all fight. He's also fought pretty ordinary on the whole. Parker was a lot better than Ortiz defensively and had a brilliant gameplan going on.

Wilder has awesome power, there's no doubt about that. It's all he has tho and against good fighters it's only going to work here and there.

First of all, as I mentioned, Parker avoided being hit solid by Wilder’s hardest shots.
Second, tell me a title holding knockout artist with 40 plus fights that has knocked out everyone of his opponents. It doesn’t happen because eventually they will run into an opponent with very good defense or someone that has an incredible chin. A fighter that just doesn’t seem to get hurt. If Wilder’s power is questioned, a whole lot of other pure punchers will also have to be scrutinized for the times that they didn’t win by knockout.

    Wilder's always been overrated.

His poor resume should've been a screaming red flag, but far too many just didn't want to see it.
So they turned Fury into a H2H ATG who beats everyone because he stunk out a clear points win over Wlad and battered Wilder despite being pillowfisted... And they turned Ortiz into a boogeyman who must've been good because the great Wilder struggled with him - even though Ortiz had a paper thin resume, too.

Wilder's power has always been overhyped too - even now some refuse to see it... Yes he hits hard, but talk of GOAT level power is simply ridiculous.

Look, it's easy to make it look like you bang much harder than you do if you're fighting guys who can't hurt you, or who are slow or who have very poor chins - especially if your entire gameplan hinges on finding the moment, planting your feet and swinging for the hills.

It's much, much harder to knock out guys who are more evasive, or who have great chins, or who have the power to keep you honest... And just look at Wilder's resume and tell me how, for a supposedly top fighter, it just so happens that every single fighter he's beaten has been bang average.

And on top of that, the icing on the cake... When you have a belt, you can make whatever fights you want - you'll even have good fighters begging for it.
Wilder had all the opportunities to prove he deserved his reputation and never tried to do it.
