I missed the full card, can anyone tell me the performance of the night, excluding bivol as I have no doubt he was as flawless as usual.
Iam not being lazy I will get caught up but I’m interested to hear your valuable insights.

I'm just going to call it now... Usyks already beaten the second best in the division, twice.

I would be even less surprised if Fury backed out now.

Weirdly, given he wasn't involved, Fury's reputation probably dipped a bit tonight. Wilder, the great rival on whom his reputation is largely built, was easily beaten by Parker (who has struggled with Chisora, Whyte and Joyce). Then Wallin, who gave Fury hell, was rolled over by AJ with ease.

I'm absolutely not gonna argue with your thoughts, mate. How can I when see the same things...

I'm fact I'm heading for the bar to get your favourite tipple.

    Do you want a chaser?

That is what should play out - IF Fury actually fights on Feb 17th. What are the odds of that, though?

He might still be, if he faces a non-pillow fisted fighter he hasn't sparred hundreds of rounds with.

Credit to AJ tonight, didn't think he still had it in him. But his opponent was someone he's beaten twice before and is very familiar with.

Let's see how he does against the big boys.

AJ batters Wallin, stops wallin and breaks his nose. Did what Fury couldn't.

Wallin, who gave Fury so much trouble. I had Fury beating Wallin 8 rounds to 4, however If there hadn't been so much money riding on the Wilder Fury rematch at the time, the fight would have been stopped and Wallin would have won.

I've been saying all along Parker beats Wilder.
I had so much stick on this forum over the years for saying Wilder is the most protected and overrated HW of all time. My opinion has been validated. Parker (underrated on this forum) wins a 12 round shutout.

Bivol - pure class. The winner in a mismatch against no mug in Arthur. One of my favorite boxers and I've always back him to beat Beterbiev.

DDD - So glad to DDD to stop Miller.

    Opetaia - Monster, best CW.

Kabayel - I was too lazy to redownload the will Hill app. I'm glad now as I would of picked Makhmudov to win. Great body shots in what was an impressive performance from Kabayel.

Hrgovic - Huge mismatch on paper and was in reality.

Sanchez - Anyone whose seen my comments knows I rate this guy highly. Slow start then show his expected glass against a poor opponent.

With Usyk vs Fury both having a rematch clause. The second the victor activates that the IBF the strip the victor. Hrgovic will fight the vacant tile, very likely to AJ. That said I would like to see the following fights on the Saudi card:

    AJ vs Hrgovic
    Dubois vs Parker
    Sanchez vs Kabayel

Is that guaranteed that all the belts get split?

Even if that was the case he’ll have enough time left in his career to unify all belts if he chose to. There wouldn’t be many roadblocks other than Fury as Usyk will probably retire in the near term.

This. That wasn't ring rust plaguing him tonight, it was age & mileage. He's a shot fighter.

Parker had the best win of the night, albeit it against a very lethargic version of Wilder. Kabayel's win over Makhmudov was surgical and quick. Opetaia delivered a devastating first round ko. Parker's probably was the best tonight, since he was an underdog heading in the fight with Deontay.

I think it must be one of the worst crowds to fight in front of in the Middle East it’s pure silence, like when football resumed in lockdown.
Surely no fighter can really enjoy fighting in these conditions, it’s just ridiculous to see a card with such little crowd interaction.
It’s just not what boxing needs in my opinion
