I'll stick to boxing analysis rather than psychoanalysis! A good performance from AJ, I'd like to see him in with Hrgo next, or Zhang, rather than Wilder, who looked pretty poor/disinterested.
Remind me to trust mine more! My gut said Parker would win, trying to filter out bias made me cautious. We all get some right and some wrong... If nothing else, this card has brought the top heavies resumes into clearer light - making comparison easier.
Hrgovic has the chin to survive the early rounds and definitely the power to hurt joshua. It would be an interesting fight. Zhang has that big ass pumpkin headed chin to stand up to Filip’s power. I don’t envision joshua staying up from similar shots. And Zhang also in my opinion hits harder than joshua.
It happens... And when we're talking about two guys who would both be chalking up their best win, plenty of people are surprised - always! Besides, it's always been difficult to judge exactly where Wilder sat in the division due to the thin resume... And it's always easy to overrate guys who can bang.
