    No doubt

This mans got nothing more ever to prove. He’s on the wrong side of his 30s and damn near closing in on 40

He never needed AJ. He has nothing more to prove. Win some lose some.

He has many millions in his bank account and all of his faculties still intact. Retire and live comfortably champ!!

    :boxing1:bananaride

Lost all his reflexes and speed from observation, and the 14 month ring rust didn’t help. Man fought one round in two years :2guns::afro:

    Thanks for the memories champ

The guy looked just as a **** as when he fought Ortiz in the second fight. He literally landed nothing for 6 rounds before clocking an old man Ortiz who got carried away after hurting Wilder

sure the inactivity didn’t help, but you can’t solely blame this for his performance given previous performances.

Parker has a better resume than Ortiz who has no wins of note, he also has a better chin. So it’s more like Parker would have beaten the same Wilder

He’s not even close to a first ballet HOFer, but may get it cause he’s coddled.

His detractors will say this is who he always was, but that isn't true. He was brutally ko'd twice by Fury and he's nearly 40. There is just no way possible he was anywhere near his peak.

He’s been an exciting fighter who’s produced some spectacular KOs. He seems happy and I hope retires. He will be a HOF puncher for sure, he’s one of the hardest punchers ever.

However with his resume, I don’t consider him a great like Fury or Usyk, even AJ. Unfortunately he spent his best years fighting journeymen which makes it hard to gauge how good he truly was. He lost every time he stepped up against a guy in their prime who was a legit threat. He will remembered similar to guys like Lyle, Tua, Byrd, Morison etc. good heavyweights, but not the very best of their eras.

In which fight he did have reflexes to begin with ? He lost exactly what? And i'm asking again when was Wilder prime exactly? I may make a thread about that in a hour or two.

Honestly the fanboys will forever be deluded. I’d only put Usyk and Fury as HOF from this era. Joshua is much closer to that status than Wilder as well.

    Actually this is good tactic.
Fight only with one man from division, get ass whoopped but still- You fight the best.
Then when u decide try with another top 10 and lost hard just blame ring rust and age...

Wilder age isn't value here. His advantages and power site is actually ones You loss last (punching power)

He was quick yesterday and got good stamina. His chin was ok after Fury fights.
He just fight with Young, good boxer with great tactic who understand excatly what he must do.

Funny how Wilder become old bum for some ppl. Probably same people who dont give Parker any chance.

Pretty good excuse. He become old.
Od maybe he just fight best rivals since Ortiz but much Younger and better chin and this is what happend.

Go look how Sharp Wilder looks on training, pad game and other.

You dont became old in one evening...

Joshua probably gets there if he can regain a legitimate strap against a proper contender.

    Fury is 50/50 for me.

Very similar to Muhammad Ali and Holmes

Guy just can’t throw with conviction and lost all of his reflexes and speed

Happens to the best of em

    Retire well Deontay !!!

Did he lose these reflexes in Ortiz 2 fight or in Fury 2?

    Agreed on all that.
