That Chisora 1 fight was what made me lose faith in Parker, and the Joyce fight sealed the deal. I thought he'd settled into journeyman territory by that point, but he still has the dog in him. Or else Wilder was actually far worse than the opponents that beat Parker or pushed him close. I think a bit of both.

I'm starting to wonder whether Wilder isn't that much better than a guy like Efe Ajabga. I might even favour Ajagba in that one.

He was exactly as he's always been, just searching for that one right hand.

Yes, exactly the same Wilder that got outboxed by Szpilka and Washington until he caught them.

I think current version of Wilder has become slower and hid timing is off. However, Parker would pose a huge problem for any version if Wilder because of his superior skills, IQ and smooth head movement.

I think prime for prime Wilder would get schooled badly by Parker but would time him with a huge right hand in 1-2 fights out of 10.

Current version of Wilder would lose to Parker 100 times out of 100

His prime ended the moment he stepped up from fighting journeymen and gate keepers, convenient isn't it, lol.

Kinda crazy to me it really needs explaining that an unschooled 38 year old coming off back to back maulings and two years out of the ring isn't in his prime.

Wilders entire game is based on timing and fast twitch explosion.

That anyone would think these two attributes would be at their peak in Wilders context is kinda an odd conclusion to arrive at.

Wilder for all his lack of boxig skills.being too skiny, small legs etc has made a good old wedge of money from the sport and his name is in the records as World Heavyweight Champ, If AJ and Wilder had got their act together they could have had a mega mega money fight.

There are plenty of Heavyweight Champs who would have liked having Wilders one punch power.

Will Wilder go down as one of the ATGs at heavyweight no, but he sure as hell will be remembered for his god given power.

Exactly the only rounds Wilder won vs Fury was the rounds he knocked him down in and vs Ortiz he lost every round until his power bailed him out of crisis.

His skills were not on display in any of the fights above only his power, the problem was last night Wilder can't fight on the backfoot see Fury 2. And Parker is the best fighter Wilder has fought regarding having a solid chin. So any single shots he did land here and there had no real effect on Parker.

Good gameplan from Parker last night that was all Parker no version of Wilder beats that version of Parker end of.

True, but he could have made more had he accepted the DAZN offer and in this cash rich era even an old faded Chisora was making millions so it's not like other fighters haven't been raking in big purses though Wilder probably made more than he should have given his actual ability.

But we were told this is exactly what would have happen now, by 99% of the people on here. Some people almost made me believe this.
Sorry Wilder can't fight, and the only punch he have is that looping right hand, nothing else. And he always, and i mean always telegraphs it.
Whether he was 25 or 35.
So all Parker or anyone actually needs to do, is do what Parker does. Just duck it under, and Wilder with his limited skills has no clue what to do. He could have uppercut Parker to dead, or even left hook the heck out of him, but he never posses any of that.

He ain't slower, and his timing was off, cause Parker had a good game plan and doesn't stand in front of him.

What makes you think that if Wilder can't KO Szpilka in less than 9 rounds, 40 years Ortiz in less than 10 rounds, and f**** Molina and Duhapas in 8-11 rounds, he would have been able to KO Parker.

Parker unlike this bums knows how to move, knows how to use upper body movement, it's not a static target, and on top of that is returning fire with fire, as Wilder was scared of what's coming at him. Also Parker has solid chin, and when was the last time Wilder managed to KO anyone with a Proven Chin?
Duhapas has good chin, but not iron or any of that, as Povetkin KO him inside 6. And Wilder couldn't drop Duhaps even once. Referee stopped that fight, so Wilder could have keep his KO record.

Nice try, but NO, Parker beats any version of Wilder, and this version of Wilder is the same Wilder ever has been.

He beats him 8-9 times out of 10. The current version he would beat every single time

Sorry mate, but he was always like that. I think he started moving more nowadays, due to having this i***** Malik Scott in his corner, but just moving side to side, and poping out the jab, without even touching your opponent, won't do a s**** for you.

I see absolutely no difference in this Wilder or the one faces Fury 1-2-3. Actually he was way worst for Fury 2 and 3, as he decide to gain a lot of muscle, and his cardio was beyond s****.

Again very conveniently that the moment a guy steps up his competition level, and lost, he is suddenly a shadow of himself, heavily declined, etc, etc.

And here is what i cannot take serious. Where was this post before the fight? Pretty much everyone was claiming Wilder going to KO Parker with ease. He would beat AJ with ease, and even the Usyk fight is 50-50, and not just that, but Wilder beats anyone not name Fury.

And then, it doesn't suit our agenda, oh we made a 180 turn. Sorry but i can't take any of that s****(I don't visiting you, but the general talking on Wilder and what he was).

    Yeah i agree with that.
But we also should not forget that at least in my book this is not the best Parker, not even close. For me the best Parker was pre-losing to AJ. And somewhere in there.
And the reason is not that he lost to AJ, and suddenly lost his attributes. But the **** decide to pack on muscle mass, obviously doing weight lifting and he lost a lot of his speed. And let's not forget he was floored by Whyte, Chisora and Joyce badly KO him.
Let's not forget he bulked heavily on top of the previous bulk for the Joyce fight. Playing with your weight like that, for a guy like Parker is just terrible and can ruin you for good. And the speed he has now, is nothing in comparison to the speed he had back then.

Yes, I agree Parker is not on his peak either. Nobody would be after the beating like the one he took from Joe Joyce.

I cannot and would not try to deny that.

But regarding lost earning potential that could be said for so many fighters in modern era, as we have seen certainly with the heavyweights they hold out for purses then the bouts get either not signed or the opponent gets a big L on their record. (we are of course talking of the boxer only making 10s of millions for a bout rather than a few times that).

Ok it is a pet hate of mine when World Champions are criticised for their careers when they have had a world title belt, something only the smallest of numbers of boxers ever achieve, and Wilder held one of the 2 modern day major belts, the WBC.

I am sure for rest of his life, Mr Wilder will not be waiting for a social security cheque each week to enable him to pay the bills.
