Had he taken on the likes of Tyson and Lewis, like Ruddock did, I'm not even sure he'd have him beat for consistency.

Please can someone make video of Parker landing right hand and after impact Deontays crown is punched out of his head?

    he is such a narcissist.

I saw no change in his performance Parker just took away his weapons was out of distance when moving left and attacked when Deontay moved to his left.

Also countered when he threw jab and right hand.

Then Deontay had nothing left he just avoided fight and looked for Parker mistake to ko him with right bomb.

Parker is too good for that.

Then when he tried to attack paker again hurt him.

And Wilder did get wild in little moments he had a chance throwing hammer fists and rabbit punces.

His peak was never in his results because he was never a good boxer to begin with. His peak was in his physical ability to turn a fight by letting his hands go. At best, his right hand was quick and deadly. His jab was also better under Breland. He could land deceptive counters.

Even against Parker, you could see exactly where a peak Wilder could've turned things around. Every time he simply stepped into his right hand, Parker could only cover up and absorb the impact.

If Ortiz was 5-10 years younger he might well have beaten Wilder.

Wilder is almost the same age as the 'aging 39 year old Wlad' who struggled with Jennings and got outboxed by Tyson Fury. This needs to be taken into account for the sake of fairness.

I didn’t see one moment where Parker was trouble, he utterly dominated. A peak Wilder would have had a lot of trouble in there. This fight was as more to do with Parker being too good for Wilder than him being past it.

Sorry but Wilder was not out of the ring for 2 years. Oct of 2022 He KO Helenius pretty quick. Aso thus was not the first time Wilder has been thoroughly outboxed. Only difference is Parker is a smarter fighter than the other guys that got lazy and ended up eating that right. Yes Wilder has aged but he didnt lose any skill in the process cause he didnt have any. Maybe he lost cause eventually that right just wont land to save him.?

I also want to add this was a Parker many said was also declined after the brutal beat down he had with Joyce.

This was how I saw it.

Parker was never in trouble, but he literally froze and covered up the few times that Wilder stepped into a right hand. If Wilder could've just taken a half step back and unleashed consecutive right hands, a few could've gotten through.

Wilder has always been a bad boxer, but he always gave his opponents something to worry about, even while being outboxed. Last night, he fought exclusively off of the back foot, circled around the ring doing nothing, and didn't really commit to his punches.

The fast twitch was also gone, which was really the only benefit of him fighting as light as he did. With no quickness or unpredictability, he was just a skinny old guy trying to keep a much younger and bigger guy from KOing him.

His docile mentality was also symbolic of a guy whose heart was no longer in it. Fury took something from him bigger than any physical attribute, and that was his aura.

To you he looked the same, but I saw a different guy.

Yep surely. And if Wilder was 10 years younger, he may have won against Parker, a round i mean. :D

Let’s blame it all on age. Let us over look everything else. Wilder had what? a 7 inch reach advantage. Where was the jab? Shouldn't that have been one if the few things they worked on in the camp to setup the right? The stupid side to side movement. Wilder having only one plan and that was to throw a right.

If anything I saw an unprepared Wilder. Him and his camp saw a Parker in declined. A Parker that a sloth like Joyce was able to land and stop. This was the problem and not anything to do with Wilder being 38 an a year removed from his last fight. He did nothing in camp but work on throwing that right. That was why he lost.

This is probably Deontay before his peak:

You guys are being deluded by hate if you think Parker just follows this version of Wilder around without paying a price for it.

I was rooting for him but can’t deny that. Old boxers would be rolling in their graves over that stiff as a board style.
